    Associate Professor in Leadership and Management (Teaching Focussed)

    Salary  

    • £58,225 to £67,468 per annum

    About the Role  

    Flexible Working

    • We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full-time.
    • We are seeking to appoint an Associate Professor with an academic or professional track-record in the field of Leadership and Management (with focus on Strategic Thinking and Vision Development, cultural intelligence, leading change, influence and persuasion).
    • The successful candidate will hold significant professional or academic experience of Leadership and Management and take a lead role in developing new courses in areas of relevance to WMG.  
    • We are particularly interested in applicants with knowledge of building organisational resilience, operating across different cultures, decision making, change management, digital fluency, coaching and development, and conflict resolution.
    • For roles at Associate Professor level the successful candidate will hold a doctorate, or equivalent professional qualification alongside a postgraduate degree, experience of high-quality teaching and module/course development and a track record of engagement with innovative educational practice.

    About You

    • For appointments at Associate Professor there is an expectation that the appointee be willing to take on leadership roles within education, such as course leader, managing a small team of academic staff or other educational leadership roles.
    • This role is on the University of Warwick Teaching Career Pathway, providing opportunities for advancement up to and including Professor level.
    • This is an education focussed appointment and we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience of teaching in higher education and a passion for impactful education and positive student outcomes.
    • Candidates with a track record in research outputs but limited educational experience are unlikely to be shortlisted for this role.
