Debt Capital Markets Lawyer at Barclays

Join us as a Debt Capital Markets lawyer at Barclays where you will provide legal support as part of the Investment Banking Legal team serving the EMEA region with a particular focus on our Debt Capital Markets (DCM) businesses. This will entail providing legal and regulatory support on a variety of transactional and non-transactional matters.

Key skills required for this role include:

• Qualified lawyer in UK or other common law jurisdiction (other jurisdictions may be considered too).
• Strong Debt Capital Markets experience gained in private practice and/or in-house at a financial institution
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, shares knowledge proactively, works effectively as a part of a team.

Other highly valued skills include:

• Previous experience working effectively in a fast-paced, complex and multi-dimensional environment.
• Experience of High Yield/leveraged finance/Covered Bond transactions.
• Ability to adapt and be comfortable working across different levels of the organisation.
