Employment Lawyer at Amnesty International

We are seeking an in-house Employment Lawyer to provide accurate, timely, and practical legal advice across a broad range of employment matters. This is a 12-month maternity cover role supporting our global operations and will be a key member of our human resources team.

Skills and Experience

• UK-qualified solicitor with minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience
• Proven expertise in contentious and non-contentious employment law, ideally from both private practice and in-house roles
• Experience with global employment practices (50% of our workforce is outside the UK)
• Exceptional drafting and communication skills
• Strong influencing with the ability to negotiate
• Self-motivated with excellent workload management skills
