LFR Engineering Supervisor at Metropolitan Police

Essential For The Role  

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in managing a small team in an operational environment.
• Appropriate experience and/or qualification in a suitable technical/engineering/operational field.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach and with a high attention to detail and professional standards.
• A full and legal UK Driving Licence with C1 category and a willingness to undertake further driver training as required.
• A willingness to be flexible to meet operational demand, sometimes working outside normal business hours.
• To be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team efficiently and effectively.
• Good interpersonal skills at all levels with excellent organisational and time management skills.
• To be prepared to undertake any training deemed necessary to role/department.
• Have, or be prepared to apply for SC Security Level clearance.

Desirable Criteria 

• A member of a professional engineering body e.g IET
• Experience of leading a small team.
• Experienced with one or more of the following: CCTV, Surveillance Systems, IP Networks, RF technologies.
• Evidence of a proactive Continued Professional Development program
