As a Logistics Manager, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of materials, plant, and people at our busy Manchester Airport site. You'll work collaboratively with site managers to ensure smooth operations while maintaining safety standards and minimising disruption to the local community and stakeholders.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Logistics Manager, you'll be working within the Project team, supporting them in delivering construction programmes efficiently. Your day to day will include:

• Managing a team of 5 logistics assistants while coordinating delivery schedules and traffic management plans
• Overseeing the Just in Time Delivery system and ensuring all supply chain partners comply with logistics protocols
• Leading safe and efficient movement of materials, including checking and signing off lifting plans
• Liaising with external stakeholders like Clayton Hotel, MAG, Metrolink and Hilton hotel to minimise disruption
• Ensuring all site activities comply with Aerodrome Safeguarding Permits and environmental plans

• You're passionate about health and safety and can apply this knowledge to logistics operations
• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships with diverse teams
• You hold SSSTS/SMSTS certification (or are willing to obtain it)
• You're organised and can balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
