Partnerships Tax Assistant Manager at BDO UK

Responsibilities:

You will have the opportunity to develop client relationships, supported by the team and working with more junior colleagues.

You will work in a team leading the market in partnerships - your portfolio will include an exciting range of clients across the partnerships space.

You will also have the opportunity to work across clients in the professional partnerships and private equity space, or to focus on your preferred market area – you will have great flexibility to shape your career.

You will:

• Run client relationships - acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring the team respond promptly to, as well as anticipate, client requests/needs, and maintaining regular contact with clients.
• Work with a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for delivery of tax compliance and advisory services as well as billing and risk management supported by the team.
• Deal with interesting and varied tax issues, with support from partners and directors.
• Build you internal networks to support your career development.
• Be responsible for coaching and developing more junior members of staff.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with:

• Willingness to learn and develop, with an interest in the private equity and/or professional partnerships sector.
• Qualified ACA/CTA (or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in a mixed tax, corporate and/or partnership tax compliance and advisory role, ideally including some experience of dealing with professional partnerships and/or private equity funds and management structures.
• Ability to work with a client portfolio.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication.
