    Professional Site Scheduler - Lockerbie

We are looking for a Site Scheduler for our newly established Supply Chain Planning organisation based at our site in Lockerbie.

    In the Supply Chain Planning department, you will be part of a dynamic, quality-conscious and competent planning team that strives to perform the most optimal planning of production and packaging. In turn we focus on high delivery service to our customers. We work together interdepartmentally as well as with other sites in the Arla network to maximise operational excellence.     How Will You Make An Impact?

    As a Site Scheduler, you will plan the production at Lockerbie in the most optimal way based on local capacity and overall production plans, as well as supporting other dairy sites across the UK where required. You will work closely with colleagues in the End-2-End planning team for Milk and Yoghurt (MY) and actively participate in daily coordination with Operations across the network. You will have a broad contact network and many stakeholders, both locally and at the headquarters.

    Your Responsibilities Include

    • Responsibility for orders and planning.
    • Identifying optimisation opportunities through planning and beyond.
    • Follow-up on site KPIs.
    • Maintenance of the Dairy’s master data.
    • Participation in network wide communities and projects.

    Planning is carried out in Excel and SAP APO. You report to Team Leader, Daryl Shanks located in Lockerbie.

    What Makes You Successful

    • Education at bachelor or vocational level in logistics, planning, or Supply Chain management – or equivalent experience
    • Several years of practical experience in planning and good understanding of processes and activities within production and supply chain
    • Very good IT and Excel skills. Knowledge of SAP and BI tools is an advantage.
