We are seeking an experienced NPD Project Manager to lead the full end-to-end lifecycle of our product development process, from concept through to market launch. In this role, you’ll keep projects on track by ensuring robust governance, proactive risk management, and strong stakeholder alignment as projects progress through our stage gate process. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you’ll help turn ideas into reality—supporting innovation and strengthening our NPD processes along the way.
In this role you’ll get to:
Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of new products, from concept to in-market launch
Create and maintain detailed project plans capturing all requirements from start to finish of product delivery, keeping our project management software up to date with accurate project data and milestones
Act as a leader to drive project delivery and work collaboratively across functions to ensure all actions are completed on time and dependencies are managed effectively
Proactively manage risks and find innovative solutions to issues to maintain delivery dates
Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and collaboration
Lead cross-functional project meetings throughout the process
Kick off meetings - ensuring projects are kicked off in enough time
Project meetings – regular check in with the teams to ensure actions are being completed as required
Provide visibility, reporting and governance to our Senior Leadership Team
Present monthly in our Innovation SLT meeting
Stage gate sign offs
Risks/Issues
Resource constraints
Process improvements wherever identified to streamline the product development process.
What we are looking for in you:
3-5 years Project Management experience within FMCG environments
Experience working on New Product Development projects
A confident communicator who is comfortable engaging with all levels of the business
Calm under pressure and able to navigate ambiguity with clarity
Assertive and people orientated, with strong interpersonal skills
A proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously to drive projects forward independently
Project Management qualification preferred (APMP or equivalent)
Experience using project management software is a plus (Wrike, Asana, MS Project etc.
