Resourcing Manager - Tax at PwC UK

As a Resource Manager, you will lead a team of Resource Officers to deliver effective workforce and deployment solutions in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Partnering closely with stakeholders, you’ll use commercial insight, business acumen and MI to guide and influence decisions. What your days will look like:

• Deliver effective workforce planning and deployment solutions aligned to portfolio growth and profitability.
• Lead and coach Resource Officers to optimise headcount, maximise utilisation and maintain strong employee engagement.
• Run regular portfolio reviews to ensure fair workload allocation, utilisation, and development for client‑facing staff.
• Analyse MI to identify trends, connections, and opportunities to improve profitability and people engagement.
• Share knowledge, best practices, and build networks across the business and Resource Management function.
• Anticipate, mitigate, and resolve conflict

• Use MI and data analytics (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to develop solutions that drive profitability.
