    Senior HR Business Partner

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • We are looking for a senior HR professional to form part of a dynamic job-share with one of our team.  You will partner one of the BBC’s divisions, working with them on their workplace culture plans to meet their immediate and long-term needs, and create a lasting legacy at a critical time in the BBC’s history.  
    • This is an opportunity to join an exceptional People Experience team at the BBC - playing your part in delivering irresistible experiences for colleagues and ensuring we have a great culture. 

    YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

    • Partner with divisions to embed culture and engagement strategies, translating group-wide initiatives into tailored, actionable steps.
    • Collaborate with HRBPs to co-create culture change initiatives aligned with divisional goals, providing tools, coaching, and expertise to embed values and behaviours.
    • Act as a trusted coach to senior leaders, building credibility and commitment to lead and influence meaningful cultural transformation.
    • Deliver measurable outcomes using People Experience, project management, and continuous improvement, adapting initiatives based on impact and feedback.
    • Build divisional capability for sustained culture change through innovation, leadership development, and alignment with BBC values.
    • Shape group-wide strategies by sharing insights and actively contributing to People Experience goals and the transformation of colleague experience.
    • Engage external partners to benchmark performance and bring in fresh, practical insights that enhance divisional culture initiatives.

    YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

    • Delivered measurable business impact by influencing culture, enabling others, and driving outcomes through collaborative leadership.
    • Deep knowledge of divisional HR models with experience leading change within complex organisational structures.
    • Partnered with senior leaders to design and deliver change initiatives that achieved tangible results and foster lasting cultural shifts.
    • Experienced at managing and influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
    • Translates group-wide strategies into locally relevant actions. 
    • Mobilised senior leaders and HRDs by providing challenge, support, and momentum to accelerate transformation.
    • Expertise in culture and behaviour change with an understanding of People Experience principles to amplify employee voice and build inclusive, engaged change communities.
