Strategy Execution Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY)

The Opportunity

This position contributes to the execution of various strategic pillars to achieve our Managed Services growth ambition.  The role will work as part of the Managed Services Strategy Execution team, to execute EY’s strategic roadmap for Managed Services (MS) specifically focused on our commercial success through a portfolio of transformation initiatives targeting effective use of capital, industrialization of solutions, and infusion of AI into service delivery. This position reports to the Global Strategy Execution Director for Managed Services.

• Strategic problem solving – ‘Make a plan’
  • Helps translate the overall MS industrialization strategy into a structured plan for our commercial success.
  • Support and enable opportunities to improve capital efficiency in support of Managed Services growth, including the alignment and integration of initiative targeting capital release from existing processes and assets, working with the other functions and teams that connect with Global  Managed Services.
  • Contributes to and executes MS workforce and location strategy.
  • Identification and analysis of, including ROI measurement, for AI infusion in our Managed Services solutions, with an emphasis on cross-solution AI investments
  • Contributes to transformation initiatives and ongoing value realization reporting
• Implementing strategic initiatives – ‘Make it Happen”
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives, with a hands-on & data-led approach – Including investment decisions and ROI, commercial approach towards deal structuring, financing requirements.
  • Contributes to defining success measures for MS goals related to MS strategic pillars noted above and enable their execution through continuous monitoring, insights, support and counsel to stakeholders.
• Thought-leadership – ‘Develop EY’s understanding’
  • Offer thoughtful challenge through insights and analytics based on update-to-date industry knowledge, comprehensive understanding of the wider organizational strategic priorities and a thorough grasp of the organizational and leadership potential.
  • Support shaping our narrative on commercial metrics for Analysts and internal stakeholders.   

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher
• Experience in working with financial analytics, Planning and Deal commercials
• Organizational comprehension, management skills and experience
• Strong influencing skills
• Strong communication and engagement skills
• A learning mindset, with good presentation skills
• Experience working in a geographically dispersed, matrixed organization with a complex stakeholder environment
• Comfortable managing through ambiguity and complexity, while working in a virtual setting 

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Understanding of Managed Services including knowledge of market and industry dynamics
• Understanding of and experience in organization transformation
