Transport Clerk Nights at DHL

Pay Rate: £26,095.21 plus a nights premium of £2.31ph for hours worked between 10pm-4am
Shift patterns: Working Monday to Friday, 10pm-6am
Location: Castle Donnington

We are now looking for a Transport Clerk to assist with transport planning, documentation, and day‑to‑day operational support.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Support day‑to‑day transport operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain and update transport documentation, including driver briefs/debriefs, delivery notes, and system entries
• Communicate with drivers, planners, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth coordination of activities
• Monitor fleet compliance, including defects, tachograph downloads, and vehicle checks
• Assist with reporting, KPI updates, and internal audits
• Respond to operational issues or queries, escalating where required

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or administration role is desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Confident using IT systems (e.g. MS Office, transport systems, telematics platforms)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
