Warehouse/Yard Operative - PM Shift at DHL

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• working outside in all weather conditions sorting out and arranging the empty kegs in the yard
• Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
• Be assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
• Be responsible for picking specified items from storage or warehouses and prepare them for shipment.
• Pick and pack products which includes unboxing, labelling, re-boxing and stacking products on pallets.
• Working in a fast pace environment
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to all rules and regulations
• Ability to work on your own or within a small team

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE

• have previous experience of working in a Warehouse environment as it is essential
• previous Forklift experience as it is essential for this role
• This role entails heavy lifting and a lot of manual handling
• Also you will need to be IT literate with good communication skills
