This role sits at the heart of Diageo’s vibrant Leven packaging site, one of our most dynamic global hubs. Here, we package an incredible portfolio of Scotch malt whiskies, white spirits, and ready‑to‑drink favourites that reach over 170 countries. Leven is not just a key manufacturing site within the Scotch supply category, it’s a place where innovation, collaboration, and world‑class craftsmanship come to life every day.

Serving as a Production Engineer focused on mechanical systems, you’ll be a driving force behind the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our mechanical assets. Your expertise will keep our lines running smoothly, your curiosity will spark meaningful improvements, and your influence will help shape a more resilient and efficient future for the site.

What you’ll be leading and contributing to:

    • Collaborating across teams: Partner with operations, CAPEX, and other maintenance groups to elevate performance, unlock improvements, and champion multi-functional success.
    • Delivering flawless maintenance: Collaborate with operational teams to plan and review mandatory and requested maintenance tasks. Complete these activities with minimal disruption and ensure parts are available.
    • Enhancing asset performance: Create, implement, and refine maintenance programs that help our equipment run at its very best, empowering teams and optimising utilization.
    • Responding with confidence: Jump into action when plant issues arise, tackling breakdowns with a calm, solutions‑focused attitude to minimise downtime and keep momentum on track.
    • Sharing insights: Use SAP to report maintenance outcomes and contribute to the sharing of guidelines, helping to strengthen knowledge and capability across the site.
    • Championing safety and quality: Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and quality, leading by example and ensuring every action reflects our values and our commitment to excellence.

Health and safety aren’t just priorities, they’re woven into the way we work. In this role, you’ll be a trusted guardian of both, ensuring we meet and exceed site and personal KPIs while fostering a culture where everyone feels supported, empowered, and proud to work safely.
