Calf Rearer at University of Reading

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Calf Rearer to join the commercial farm Youngstock team at The Centre for Dairy Research (CEDAR), The University of Reading. This is a critical role responsible for the husbandry, welfare, health and day to day routines for calves from birth to weaning.

You will have:

• An understanding of dairy operations
• A high level of stockmanship
• A deep knowledge of animal welfare, dairy cow and calf husbandry
• Calf rearing experience
• Willingness to work as part of a team
