    Global Brand Manager, St.Tropez

    The role:

    • As a Global Brand Manager, you will be a passionate and proactive individual with a winner’s mindset. You’ll be a great storyteller with the ability to excite and inspire internal market teams as well as external partners and retailers with gravitas. Ideally, you’ll have some market experience as well as brand strategy experience to understand what’s needed on the receiver’s end of what you’ll deliver and understanding of the markets’ P&L. You’ll enjoy a challenge with the desire to deliver great things for yourself and the business and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

    • Reporting into the Global Head of Brand, the role of Global Brand Manager is extremely varied and offers exceptional development pathway.
    • Whilst every day is different, some of the day-to-day responsibilities and accountabilities you will have as a Global Brand Manager at PZ Cussons are as follows:   

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Global Strategy:   Evolve and execute a winning, distinctive brand proposition based on consumer, customer and market insights. Working closely with the Product team, identify gaps and opportunities to generate compelling insights to help develop the pipeline for growth including annual communication & innovation plans
    • Assist in creation and deployment of a global channel strategy (where to play, how to win) for markets to build upon and execute, identifying white space and what is needed to unlock commercial growth
    • Brand Health & Identity: Working as the internal brand guardian ensure all our activation toolkits deliver on the principles of the brand; brand visual identity, brand tone of voice, distinctive assets & primary messages.
    • Evolve the tone of voice in line with audience insights and market trends ensuring that we are relevant and modernised in our approach to the consumer
    • Social, PR & Community Strategy: Lead our Owned media channels and the organic posting and community involvement strategy. Create and mobilise a best-in-class network of in-house, freelance and agency capabilities to deliver efficient and cost-effective management of our channels
    • Utilising media insights and trends from external agencies and partners, optimise our strategy for growth in this channel. Fuel our Digital & Social strategy with new creative content themes for better cut through and lead market guidelines for PR territories and local influencer / content creator partnerships. Working with the internal teams, ensure all assets and materials are housed in extranet / DAM system for easy market adoption
    • Working closely with media agencies and internal Consumer Services team to solve against consumer queries, responses and deliver better engagement through a proactive engagement approach
    • Campaign Development & Market Deployment: Lead the campaign development of key marketing assets for each season and activation strategies by category for USA/UK/EMEA/ANZ which inspire market teams and retailers alike. Create clear and insight-backed briefs for preferred agencies, manage tender process where necessary and negotiate on costs to ensure competitive responses.
    • Lead the shopper toolkit and visual merchandising guidelines from a global perspective and deployment tools such as master copy documentation, guidelines and asset bible
    • Understand the retail landscape and bespoke challenges in each market to ensure successful delivery of the brands commercial and growth targets across the regions. Deliver draft trade presentations for each season for market localisation and activation planning and enable their success through input and collaboration throughout the year.
    • Be the key point of contact for bespoke market requests with a particular focus on managing our Canadian distributor to field into the relevant internal teams where necessary
    • Budget Management: Manage the global budget tracker to ensure delivery of strategic projects on time and to budget, negotiating with agencies and utilising synergies across PZ and St.Tropez where possible. Assist with administrative tasks where required
    • Team Management: This role will have 1 report of an Assistant Brand Manager based in Manchester. Key line management responsibilities will include project support and learning support, workload management, development plan facilitation and assessment of individual against key job accountabilities.

    Skills and Experience:

    • University Degree or Equivalent Experience in field 
    • Relevant marketing experience working on campaign development and execution 
    • Strong experience in agency management 
    • Experience of brand planning cycle 
    • Strong Communicator/Influencer – Both peer group & senior team & split location teams 
    • Demonstrable campaign and creative experience

    • Experience in corporate and personal use of social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok
