As a Software Developer Intern at Honeywell, in Horsham, you will be responsible for working as part of an agile team researching and developing the next generation of our industry leading building energy management systems.
We have one role available within the team, focusing PC Application.
This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This internship is set up for 12 months, starting from summer 2026 and will be for a candidate requiring a sandwich internship as part of their degree, with a potential opportunity for a permanent role after graduation in 2028.
Key responsibilities:
Working as part of a Research & Development team to expand out our latest software development initiatives and developing PC applications that allow the Engineering and configuration of Building Management Systems developed using C# or similar high-level language
You will be working in an agile software development / scrum team with exposure to different areas of the business and teams across the globe
Meeting with decision makers, system owners, and end-users to define business requirements
Developing cutting edge products to manage the energy and efficiency of commercial buildings. Our market leading products are used across the world in commercial businesses, the leisure industry, education, and healthcare to name but a few
Key skills and qualifications:
Currently studying a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, requiring a 2026 sandwich placement and graduating in 2028
Solid business level English written and verbal communication skills
C# experience
Ability to commute to the Horsham office with ease
