This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with various departments and gain exposure to senior stakeholders.
    • We’re looking for someone who is not only analytical and organised, but also proactive and creative—ready to identify opportunities, propose practical solutions, and collaborate with key stakeholders to align with procurement strategies that deliver meaningful impact. Please note: we're also happy to consider supporting colleagues in gaining their CIPS qualifications up to MCIPS, after successful probation periods.
    • At Lidl, we offer a hybrid working model to give you the best of both worlds. Spend three days or more in our state-of-the-art office, where you can enjoy an on-site gym, restaurant, and more of the perks you deserve. And with up to two days at home, you’ll find the work/life balance you need to thrive.

    What you'll do

    • Strategic Sourcing for Indirect categories
    • Lead and deliver sourcing initiatives, including supplier/industry analysis, benchmarking, and cost structure evaluation.

    • Create tender packs, propose and complete scorecards.
    • Present clear and commercially sound recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Negotiations & Contracting
    • Prepare and confidently lead negotiation meetings, ensuring both technical and commercial aspects are addressed.
    • Influence outcomes to achieve strong commercial value for Lidl.
    • Draft and negotiate contracts, ensuring clarity and compliance across all terms.
    • Category Development & Innovation
    • Support the rollout of new procurement categories and onboarding processes, as needed
    • Recommend creative and practical service delivery models and sourcing approaches.
    • Identify and implement category improvements using insights from internal and external trends.
    • Contract & Supplier Relationship Management
    • Oversee the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and performance tracking.
    • Foster strong supplier relationships and continuously seek opportunities for performance improvement.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting
    • Engage with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and translate them into procurement strategies.
    • Present updates, insights, and proposals clearly and confidently to senior management.
    • Act as a trusted advisor by managing expectations, navigating challenges, and delivering commercially sound outcomes.

    What you'll need
