    Project Officer

There is scope for hybrid working but the role requires on campus presence at least 3 days per week

Are you an organised, proactive professional with a passion for supporting research, managing and delivering impactful events, and fostering and maintaining communication systems?   Do you enjoy working as part of a collaborative team within an inspiring academic environment?  If so, we invite you to consider joining us as a Project Officer at the Centre for Employment Relations, Innovation and Change (CERIC).

    • CERIC is a thriving research centre based at Leeds University Business School, bringing together over 80 distinguished academics, early-career scholars, and visiting researchers.  We are at the forefront of national and international debates surrounding the future of work, employment, and labour markets.  As part of the People, Work and Employment (PWE) Department, we are proud to contribute meaningful research that influences policy, practice, and academic thought.
    • As CERIC’s Project Officer, you will be a key player in the continued success and visibility of the Centre. This is a varied and stimulating role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas and is eager to make a tangible impact. You’ll be central to supporting our research projects, including numerous prestigious externally funded programmes of research (this will include supporting, for example, the ESRC Digital Futures at Work Research Centre), coordinating events that bring together academic and industry leaders, and managing effective communication strategies that highlight our work locally and globally.
    • We are looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and precision to their work. You’ll have experience in project and events management, and research support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll be developing connections across the School, University, and beyond. At CERIC, you’ll find yourself part of a welcoming, ambitious, and forward-thinking community. If you're excited about supporting world-class research and being part of a team that helps shape the future of work, we’d love to hear from you.
    • Please submit a supporting statement with detail previous experience of supporting academic research activity and/ or a university research centre in addition to the application.
