    Lecturer (Teaching and Research) in Psychology

    The School is seeking candidates to complement and strengthen its excellent research and teaching portfolio. Applicants will have a PhD and postgraduate experience in a relevant field. This should be evidenced by appropriate funding to support your research and high-quality publications or outputs.  We encourage candidates whose research complements the existing expertise within the School: i) Health, Wellbeing & Healthcare services; ii) Childhood, Adolescence, & Ageing; iii) Cognition, Perception, & Action; and iv) Appetite, Nutrition, & Obesity.     Business Support Officer

    Are you looking for a challenging and varied role working as part of a small Business Support Team? Do you have substantial senior level administrative support and PA experience? Do you have the ability to a deliver proactive and solutions-focussed approach?

    The Transformation Office supports the University to deliver step change improvements across a wide range of activities. Managing and embedding this level of change is critical to the effective delivery of the University’s vision. The Transformation Office is tasked with leading and managing these changes and we rely on high quality administration to support the team who deliver them.

    We are now seeking a flexible, well-organised and proactive Business Support Officer with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our busy Business Support Team. You will work across the breadth of the Transformation Office, providing comprehensive PA support for the Director of the Transformation Office whilst also working closely with the Business Support Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the Business Support function by managing day to day operational resource and workflow for the team. You will ensure effective support to the Leadership Team as a whole.

    This role involves undertaking a wide variety of administrative tasks including diary management, supporting meetings and events, overseeing the recruitment process and purchasing. The candidate will also support the team’s communications strategy including updating website and SharePoint content.

    You will have a proven track record of providing excellent PA and administrative support in a busy team, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be flexible and well-organised with an ability to deal with competing priorities. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills who is equally comfortable working independently or with others. The need to multi-task and effectively prioritise is vital.

    Project Coordinator

    Do you want to be part of a national network supporting the delivery of health and care research across England? Are you experienced in the effective coordination and delivery of projects and activities in line with organisational goals? Can you provide operational support and expertise to a range of collaborators? Do you have experience supervising colleagues and supporting the delivery of continual service improvement?

    • We are seeking a Project Coordinator to be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of ongoing and new projects. Your ability to work proactively and positively with diverse groups of collaborators will be key to your success. You will have experience of coordinating complex activities and helping to organise events and meetings.
    • Furthermore, you will be proficient in drafting documentation for organisation-wide dissemination, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality communications.     • This role will be based in the RDN Coordinating Centre (RDNCC) office at Queen Street, Leeds. We work in a hybrid way with an expectation that all RDNCC staff spend at least 40% of their time in the office. We are also open to discussing other flexible working arrangements.

    Strategic Project Administrator

    Business Support Assistant

    This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

    Working for a Director or a Head of Service, within Residential services, your duties will include - writing and delivering effective communications for students, staff and external contacts, ensuring content is appropriate and relevant for the target audience; diary management; helping to plan and organise meetings & events attended by managers, team members and external service partners; minute taking; making travel and accommodation arrangements and bookings; processing claims for expenses; organising & maintaining records and files and undertaking general administrative duties.

    We will want you to be interested in maintaining, developing and improving administration and communication standards in the service you work for. You will demonstrate innovation and creativity as well as the ability to adapt to different ways of working and a commitment to your own personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.

    In order to be successful in this role, you will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and have experience of working to assist senior managers in a business support/admin role. You will possess excellent IT skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills and will be able to work independently using your own initiative and judgement in order to make decisions.

    Normal working hours will be 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. However, there may be an occasional requirement to work evenings and weekends

The primary focus of this role is to manage and assist with a wide range of administrative tasks related to the lecturer’s academic and professional responsibilities.
