    Senior Licensing Executive - Retail and Merchandise

    PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):  

    Grow the Brand – 

    • Drive new business development to expand Chelsea FC’s product presence across lifestyle categories, globally. 
    • Identify and pitch new partners that align with Chelsea’s brand and commercial goals. 

    Own the Product Lifecycle – 

    • Manage relationships with existing licensees across product development, design, approvals, and go-to-market timelines. 
    • Collaborate closely with internal creative, merchandising, and legal teams to maintain high standards across every licensed product. 

    Drive Commercial Results – 

    • Support and execute licensing strategy to achieve revenue growth targets. 
    • Monitor and report on royalty performance, forecasting, and commercial opportunities. 

    Create Market Impact – 

    • Coordinate licensed retail activations and pop-up experiences around key global events, such as pre-season tours. 
    • Stay ahead of market trends to inform product and category strategy

    PROUD TO BE CHELSEA (Person Specification): 

    Skills, Qualifications & Experience: 

    • Solid experience in retail buying, product development, brand licensing, or a similar commercial role within fashion, consumer goods, sports, or entertainment.  Experience working with international markets or global brands is a bonus. 
    • A deep understanding of how to take a product from concept to customer—balancing brand integrity with commercial success. 
    • Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills—you keep multiple initiatives moving without missing a beat. 
    • Strong relationship skills and confidence working with internal stakeholders and external partners. 
    • A proactive mindset, always looking for new opportunities to grow the brand and business. 
    • Exposure to contract reviews and understanding of licensing legal considerations. 
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
