Social Media Content Producer - Reactive at Amnesty International

ABOUT YOU

The role would suit a digital native with experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, particularly those with a background in news or social media.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write and design or edit daily compelling and informative human rights video and graphic content for social media
• Attending morning news meetings and identify trending stories to pitch and develop
• Fact-checking to ensure all content is on point and on brand, and that assets used are either fully cleared or credited in accordance with Amnesty International content guidelines
• Reediting and posting content in a variety of dimensions

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills with the ability to involve multiple stakeholders in content production
• Excellent skills using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Canva with After Effects experience desirable
• Good understanding of media law (particularly copyright), ethical considerations regarding data rights and licensing content
• Single-handedly execute the entire writing and production process -- from ideation and organization to management and execution
