The Role
In the Off-Trade channel, success is built on relationships, insight, and precision. As Customer Development Manager, you’ll report into the Customer Controller and take ownership of promotional planning & execution within a Top 4 Grocer. You’ll collaborate closely with the retailer’s commercial, supply chain and in-store teams, and internally with shopper marketing and demand planning teams to maximise returns from our trade plan.
You’ll need to stay close to the customer and the grocery/convenience market, understand the levers that drive performance, and maintain tight control of pricing and promotions systems. This is a highly collaborative role as part of a small team, where you’ll work to team targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pricing and promotions systems and data with accuracy
- Deliver high-quality sales reporting and commercial insight
- Be the key contact for our field sales team, prioritising goals for each cycle and visiting stores to monitor compliance and identify areas of opportunity
- Work with Shopper Marketing to bring brand campaigns to life in-store
- Own the relationship with this customer's buyer for their convenience estate
- Represent Heineken as a trusted partner.

About the role
As a Quality Analyst, reporting into the Laboratory Manager, you’ll play a central role in carrying out various activities within our labs to support our brilliantly brewed products. This includes carrying out microbiological, analytical, packaging appearance & flavour analyses as well as maintaining & calibrating equipment utilised in the labs. You’ll also contribute to our TPM journey by providing opportunities for process improvements and quality improvements of our products.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards in all laboratory activities.
- Adhere to LabStar/ISO systems and Group Quality standards.
- Conduct sampling and analysis of raw materials, in-process beer and finished products, including microbiological, chemical, sensory and packaging assessments using appropriate laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Manage sample receipt, processing and dispatch in line with laboratory procedures, including coordination with external laboratories and suppliers.
- Operate and maintain yeast culturing processes.
- Maintain, calibrate and verify laboratory equipment (on-line and off-line) across site and satellite laboratories to ensure compliance with LabStar/ISO standards.
- Use LIMS for accurate data management, reporting and trend analysis; provide training and advanced system support where required.
- Interpret results, present findings at site reviews and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Provide technical expertise in microbiological and analytical matters, supporting production teams and continuous improvement initiatives, including TPM and 5S activities.
- Support investigations relating to product or packaging queries and conduct audits in line with Group and site audit plans.
- Deputise for the Sensory Analyst when required.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or similar science qualifications. Brewing Diploma is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working in Laboratories with a consolidated understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP). Ideally worked in accordance with ISO 17205/ ISO9000 standards.
- Strong knowledge of brewing & packaging processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role
- We’re looking for a Digital Brewery Specialist to drive key digital initiatives across our UK production sites as part of our Connected Brewery Programme. This role will play a crucial part in increasing digital maturity, bridging the gap between D&T and operational technology (OT), and reducing existing tech debt by deploying global D&T products.
- This is a dual-reporting position, working closely with both the local Engineering Manager and the D&T Technology Team to ensure efficient and consistent delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll lead and support a range of initiatives that bring standardisation and digital capability to our brewery operations, including:
- Deploying the Global Heineken Data Capture (Event Manager) solution across at least two sites by June 2026, with plans for a third.
- Acting as the UK lead for the MS Access retirement programme, working closely with the Hyperautomation team.
- Contributing to PCD security by coordinating technical initiatives linked to the Global PCD Security and PCD 2026 programmes.
- Supporting local digital initiatives such as condition-based monitoring and dashboard development to enhance operational efficiency.
- Providing regular updates to management and participating in the Digital Steering Committee where needed.
- Leading change management activities to support the adoption of new technology, including proposing appropriate training.
- Driving consistent ways of working, processes and standards across all production sites.
- Identifying skill and organisational gaps that may impact the rollout of global technology programmes.
About You
You’ll bring a blend of technical know-how, project delivery experience, and strong stakeholder engagement skills. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively across multiple sites, influence without authority, and translate complex digital solutions into practical operational improvements.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience working within manufacturing, supply chain or a similar operational environment.
- Knowledge and/ or experience of Grafana, Power Bi, Parsable, SharePoint, and SQL
- Knowledge of automation systems, D&T / OT environments, or digital transformation programmes.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Confidence engaging with cross-functional teams, from engineering to technology.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to drive change through others.
