    Chief Architect - Cloud & AI

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives (e.g., CTO, CIO) at large enterprise customers, helping define and execute transformative Cloud & AI strategies
    • Providing technical vision and leadership for complex, high-impact projects.Proactively using expert knowledge in customer conversations to influence solutions and drive consumption
    • Lead and accelerate Azure consumption plans, ensuring alignment to customer successInspire customer innovation by helping them adopt AI at scale, guiding them through their transformation journey with confidence and clarity
    • Anticipate and resolve critical business and technical challenges to accelerate value realisation.Lead architectural design workshops and oversee the implementation and quality assurance of secure, scalable, and resilient end-to-end solutions, leveraging Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well-Architected Framework (WAF), and best practices to optimize mission-critical workloads.
    • Collaborate with account teams and leadership to support account planning, deal creation, and execution of consumption and customer success plans.
    • Share responsibility for Azure and Unified Health within accounts, supporting expansion, renewal, and next-best workload motions
    • Demonstrate mastery across AI applications, infrastructure, and data, enabling production-scale AI use cases.
    • Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining advanced certifications and deep technical expertise across priority workloads such as Azure AI Foundry, GitHub, App Services, Databricks, Fabric, and more
    • Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously developing your skills, aligning with business priorities, and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.
    • Mentor and upskill the technical community fostering a culture of learning and innovation. This includes, acting as a spokesperson and thought leader both internally and externally.

    Qualifications
    Required/minimum qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
    • Additional or preferred qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
    • Experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
    • Experience leading technical projects.
    • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

    Business Program Management

    As the Business Program Manager focussed on Communications, Culture, Employee Engagement plays a critical role in shaping how culture, engagement, and people priorities are brought to life across ISD EMEA. This role sits at the intersection of people experience, strategic communications, and programme execution, translating ISD Strategy and People Priorities into high-impact initiatives that drive value and clarity that employees and leaders can see, feel, and engage with.

    You will design and deliver people and culture programmes, lead multichannel communications, and manage end to end execution across EMEA, partnering closely with HR, ISD leadership, communications, and business stakeholders to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact.

    This role is ideal for someone who is people centred, highly organised, and comfortable operating across ambiguity, with a strong bias for action and delivery.

    Responsibilities

    Programme Management & Execution

    • Own the end‑to‑end delivery of people and culture programmes across ISD EMEA (e.g. people plan, ISD Global Manager Community, Career and Capability programmes, employee recognition).
    • Translate ISD EMEA People Plan priorities into structured programmes with clear outcomes, milestones, and success measures, aligned to Signals insights and leadership direction.
    • Manage cross‑functional dependencies, risks, timelines, and communications to ensure programmes land on time and with quality.

    Communications & Storytelling

    • Develop and execute clear, engaging internal communications that bring people priorities, cultural initiatives, and leadership messages to life across EMEA.
    • Partner with ISD and EMEA communications leads to align messaging, cadence, and channels (e.g. Town Halls, leadership updates, SharePoint, Viva Engage, manager toolkits). 

    Ensure communications are inclusive, accessible, and locally relevant, while maintaining consistency with global Microsoft narratives.
    People & Culture Impact

    • Support the landing of ISD EMEA culture and engagement priorities, including career, capability, recognition, community, and manager excellence.
    • Use insights from Employee Signals and People Programs Signals to inform programme design, communications, and continuous improvement. 
    • Create moments that matter for employees by turning strategy into tangible experiences that reinforce Microsoft values and ISD’s identity as a talent destination.

    Stakeholder Partnership

    • Act as a trusted partner to ISD EMEA Leadership Team, USD EMEA Business Management community, global ISD & CE&S programme owners.
    • Support leadership rhythms by providing clear updates, insights, and materials that enable informed decision‑making and effective people conversations.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in programme or project management, internal communications, employee experience programmes.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting messages for diverse, senior audiences.

    Executive Assistant - ISD EMEA

    Overview

    • The Executive Assistant (EA) role in ISD EMEA provides strategic, trusted business support to senior leadership team members, enabling leadership effectiveness, organisational rhythm, and operational excellence across a complex, matrixed environment. 
    • The role operates across multiple countries and time zones, partnering closely with leaders, Business Managers, Chiefs of Staff, HR, Finance, Communications, and EA peers across ISD, MCAPS, and broader Microsoft. The EA exercises strong judgment, discretion, and autonomy, proactively managing ambiguity while anticipating leadership and business needs. The role is an active member of the ISD EMEA EA community, contributing to shared standards, capability building, and culture. 

    Responsibilities

    • Leadership Enablement, Calendar Management & Rhythm of Business 
    • Provide strategic calendar management and timeplanning support for senior leaders (GM Level), aligning schedules to business priorities, operating rhythm, and leader preferences. 
    • Manage complex meeting logistics endtoend, including preparation of agendas, briefings, prereads, attendee alignment, and coordination of rooms, AV, and technology. 
    • Use business context and judgment to prioritise competing demands, resolve scheduling conflicts, identify appropriate delegates, and keep leaders informed of tradeoffs. 
    • Support and execute the leader’s Rhythm of Business (ROB), partnering with Business Managers and Chiefs of Staff to manage cadence, confidential communications, and decision forums, and where appropriate, attend meetings and ensure followup where needed. 
    • Cross-Organisational Collaboration, Projects & Operational Excellence 
    • Act as a liaison between executives, teams, and crossorganisational partners, building strong networks across ISD, MCAPS, and adjacent Microsoft organisations. 
    • Own and deliver multiple projects endtoend with varying deadlines, maintaining high executional standards and accountability for outcomes. 
    • Coordinate and lead events and offsites, including workback schedules, checkpoints, logistics, supplier management, and postevent closeout. 
    • Drive operational excellence through process simplification, continuous improvement, and effective use of Microsoft tools and systems. 
    • Business Support Leadership, Resource Management & Team Enablement 
    • Lead by example within the Business Support discipline, demonstrating executive presence, professionalism, and sound judgment, and acting as a role model to EA peers. 
    • Contribute to the ISD EMEA EA community by sharing best practices, supporting onboarding, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and participating in interviews where required. 
    • Support team management activities including headcount management, recruitment coordination, onboarding/offboarding, executive onboarding, and accurate reporting in partnership with Business Managers, HR, and Finance. 
    • Manage travel planning and logistics for leaders and teams, including complex international itineraries, compliance with Microsoft travel and tax policies, and ontheground issue resolution. 
    • Partner with Finance on expense, purchase, and resource management, including discretionary budgets, vendor coordination, policy compliance, and financial tracking. 

    Qualifications
    Required Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders in a complex, matrixed, multinational environment, with strong autonomy and judgment. 
    • Proven ability to manage high volumes of competing priorities, ambiguity, and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. 
    • Strong cross-organisational collaboration skills, with experience partnering with HR, Finance, Business Managers, Chiefs of Staff, and Communications teams. 
    • Experience owning projects, events, and operational initiatives endtoend, with a track record of executional excellence. 
    • High proficiency with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, expense and headcount systems) and a continuous improvement mindset.
