    Benefits Manager

    The project:
    Anglian Water has confirmed an unincorporated joint venture between AtkinsRéalis, Mace and Turner and Townsend as its new programme delivery partner (PDP) to support its capital investment delivery over the next fifteen years. This will begin with the water company’s biggest ever business plan for asset management period 8 (AMP8), worth £11 billion, which kicked off in April and will continue until 2030.

    You’ll be responsible for:

    • Supporting the Benefits Lead to plan and align benefits with programme business case targets and strategic objectives.
    • Supporting the Benefits Lead to develop frameworks for benefits integration into scheme business cases.
    • Monitoring and assuring delivery, reporting progress against KPIs and recommending improvements.
    • Supporting the Benefits Lead to embed benefits management within PMO controls and programme reporting.
    • Supporting the Benefits Lead to design and implement benefits strategy for planning, mapping, and evaluation.
    • Developing management plans for programme and scheme-level benefits delivery.
    • Integrating benefits management into PMO controls, reporting, cost, and risk processes.
    • Partnering with client teams to meet expectations and strengthen relationships.

    You’ll need to have:

    • Proven experience in benefits management on major programmes or projects.
    • Expertise in benefits strategy and investment appraisal methods.
    • Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage complex activities with uncertain outcomes.

    Health, Safety and Wellbeing Lead

    The project:

    Our client is the utilities provider in the South-East geographic area. Their purpose is to deliver services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long-term value for all.

    As the Quality Manager, you will work within capital delivery, and you will work with project teams in a collaborative environment interacting positively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the simultaneous delivery of a number of water and water recycling projects and/or programmes within their AMP8 programme. The role will ensure our clients project governance procedures are followed including risk, cost and change control and will work collaboratively with other teams across the business to deliver projects.

    Provides strategic leadership for health, safety and wellbeing across a major portfolio, partnering with executives and directors to drive efficient performance. Monitors and reports on HSW, offering expert guidance, and supports development of group strategy and business objectives.

    You’ll be responsible for:

    • Managing strategic HSW risk management and mitigation.
    • Driving change through engagement and innovation.
    • Integrating and develop cohesive HSW teams.
    • Providing expert HSW advice to business leaders.
    • Championing succession planning and team development.
    • Collaborating on assurance and continuous improvement.
    • Influencing stakeholders and enforce compliance.
    • Advancing HSW systems and net zero goals.

    You’ll need to have:

    • Chartered HSW professional with sector expertise.
    • Proven leadership in complex organisations.
    • Strong risk, assurance and change management skills.
    • Degree-level education with continuous development.
