    Applications Support Senior Analyst - AVP

    The Commodities Support team is a well-established team with regional coverage in Singapore, India, London, Belfast and Houston. The team primarily covers regional application Support to the Commodities trading business within Markets. Our partners include the Trading desk, Operations, Middle office, Risk and Controls and other downstream partners. The team is responsible for ensuring the availability and efficiency of the trading applications used by all partner functions.

    What you’ll do:

    • Work within the Global Commodities Production team to provide stability and support to the Commodities trading business (Trading, Operations, Middle Office, Downstream partners) .
    • Deliver efficiency and stability through automation, failover testing and incident and problem management lifecycles.
    • Use Site Reliability Engineering methods to improve availability and performance of applications.
    • Deliver TOIL reduction via automation, resiliency and observability.
    • Manage, triage, communicate and resolve live business impacting incidents.
    • Deliver observability and analytical insights into application performance and capacity with proposed solutions.
    • Work to implement scalable solutions from a tooling catalogue.

    What we’ll need from you

    • Relevant experience in an Application Support role, ideally with Site Reliability Engineering experience.
    • Knowledge / experience of Problem Management Tools and the Incident management process.
    • Demonstratable experience in providing Automation and TOIL reducing solutions.
    • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and technical skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms and the ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders.
    • Experience with Oracle, Mongo, SQL, ITRS , Grafana, Kibana, Kafka, UNIX. OTEL
    • Ability to plan and organize workload and triaging effectively based on urgency.
    • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

    Product Specialist - Underwriting

    Job Overview

    Are you looking to take the next step in your career, working within commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending?

    Citi is currently looking to hire a loan underwriter who can evaluate small and medium lot size commercial real estate as collateral for lending, assess borrower creditworthiness, review due diligence, process credit approvals then monitor loan performance.

    This is an Associate Vice President or Vice President role in-business role based in London.

    What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

    • Evaluate commercial real estate properties along with market dynamics and futures drivers of performance. This may cover a wide range of commercial real estate asset classes such as industrial, retail, offices and living sector
    • Strong understanding of lending/underwriting criteria to make sure loans meet the required standard
    • Judgement/in business screening on whether CRE loan applications are suitable & prudent lending cases and should be considered for extension of credit
    • Assessment of credit risks relating to CRE property/borrowers and mitigants.
    • Analysis and modelling of commercial real estate and loans
    • Preparation of credit memos and presentations for credit committee approvals
    • Management of loan execution process, including discussions with third parties, servicers, clients and advisers
    • Working with internal partners including risk, legal and onboarding
    • Involvement in monitoring of financings and other ad hoc workstreams

    What we will need from you:

    • Experience in lending on commercial real estate for small and medium balance loans is required
    • Knowledge of the commercial real estate property market
    • Strong computing, numeracy and analytical skills required
    • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills – English (required)
    • Ability and willingness to travel for work in Europe
    • Efficiency minded
    • Self-motivated and a strong work ethic
    • Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines
    • University degree or similar
