The Global Banking Analyst is a key member of the Global Accounting department, working closely with the Global Controller. This position will provide primary day-to-day support for banking needs globally. This candidate will work closely with our global accounting team to ensure the execution of banking tasks, global funding requests, and periodic banking-related reporting. This role supports and assists the Controllership function in developing internal banking controls and related policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Execute banking security entitlements and file services
Review foreign currency funding requests and manage them administratively ensuring requests are actioned by Treasury, related invoices received are reviewed and processed through AP, and payments are monitored
Confirm global funding currency requests are received by requesting subsidiary banks
Manage currency purchase invoices
Review payment batches from the accounting system for completeness in accuracy in the banking platform
Bank fees management and oversight
Administrate new bank account requests and related onboarding
Administrate closure of bank accounts
Coordinate banking trainings
Monitor global banking sector frameworks
Support other departments with banking-specific tasks
Document banking related processes
Payment and file research and reporting
Collaborate with Treasury on overlapping Treasury + Accounting topics
Support the General Ledger team with review of global monthly bank reconciliations
Support credit card program administration
Relationship support for banking partners throughout the organization
Execute against management’s strategic plans
Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field or experience of commensurate value
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience; non-profit sector experience a plus
English language skills required
Proficiency with financial software and spreadsheet programs
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to multi-task, collaborate in a multicultural, diverse, and highly deadline and performance-driven environment
