    Business Development Manager

    Salary Information

    About You

    • As a Business Development Manager in the team, you will have the opportunity to help shape and develop the future of the team.
    • Leads the management of assigned key broker accounts for Allianz UK in the Midlands Market through excellent relationship management
    • Plans, implements and delivers the development of broker relationships and strategic business plans for assigned accounts, consistently monitoring and managing performance against these plans and taking relevant actions to ensure delivery of required results
    • Acts as the relationship lead (internally and externally) for assigned accounts to enable Allianz leverage benefit from these relationships and delivers on our client commitments
    • Develop strong pipeline of opportunities that fit our appetite and support deliver of our growth ambition.
    • Plays an active role in driving innovative creative business development initiatives within the Midlands region
    • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

    Essential Skills

    • Strong relationship management, networking, negotiation and influencing skills
    • Self-starter, assertive, resilient and ability to motivate others to win with you
    • A strategic thinker with a growth mindset.
    • Close familiarity with the commercial insurance market and its components
    • Strong financial acumen and presentations skills

    Desirable Skills

    • A strong understanding of the customer and broker propositions offered by Allianz
    • Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage with experience using Generative AI tools such as onsite Webchat / Chat Bot systems.
    • Proficient in use of Teams, Powerpoint and Excel

    Personal Assistant

    In this role, you will provide comprehensive PA support to the Commercial Transformation Director ensuring they are well-prepared and organized to achieve their business goals. You will also assist the broader Transformation Leadership team with ad hoc PA requirements  and collaborate with Business Managers, as well as support other team members. This role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders across Allianz and external partners as needed.

    Salary Information

    • Pay: £35k - £40k per year.

    About You

    • Manages the Commercial Transformation Directors diary ensuring all meetings are scheduled, travel logistics arranged and corporate planning timescales are met.
    • Review and maintain the Commercial Transformation Directors inbox, coordinate responses and organises daily actions.
    • Provides full administrative support to the Commercial Transformation Director and support for other Senior Managers in the absence of their PAs to ensure work is covered appropriately.  
    • Support the wider Transformation Leadership team with their PA requirements on an ad hoc basis 
    • Anticipates and fulfils the needs and requirements for meetings and conferences (including webinars etc).
    • Ensures key meeting reports, minutes, slide packs/meeting papers, action updates and presentations are completed and issued in good time.
    • Handles confidential data in a sensitive manner.
    • Ensures that the Team meets the regulatory requirements in all aspects including the Gifts and Hospitality Register.
    • Prepares and processes invoices for authorisation.
    • Gathers, prepares and submits expense claims.
    • Drives and ensures that communications from the Commercial Transformation Director (blogs, intranet content, including organisation charts and distribution lists) are always kept up-to-date.
    • Helps to co-ordinate the PA Network to act as a central hub for information to help deliver an optimal front-facing service.
    • May mentor or coach new PAs as well as help recruit for PA vacancies.

    Essential Skills

    • Proven PA experience at a senior level.
    • Experience of working with various electronic systems and reporting tools.
    • Proven track record of showcasing excellent organisational, communication and prioritisation skills.
    • Action coordination and ability to deal with stakeholders and managing them in a sensitive way.
    • Effective communication and organisation skills.
    • Demonstrates effective influencing and collaborating skills.
    • Ability to delegate in the absence of their Manager.
    • Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

    Desirable Skills

    • Background from Insurance or Financial services organisation however this is not a requirement.
