    Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Industrial Engineering

    Location: Samlesbury, Onsite – 5 days per week onsite

    Salary: £49,400+ (DOE)

    What you’ll be doing:

    • In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and help reduce costs. You’ll observe shop floor activities through time studies and activity sampling to validate standard time values, identify non-value-added tasks, and highlight opportunities to reduce waste. By analysing standard time data and reviewing manufacturing practices, you’ll play an important part in identifying practical improvements that support a more efficient and effective production environment.
    • You’ll also help optimise workflow and resource planning by creating work balance boards that clearly show station workloads and schedules. This includes identifying bottlenecks, improving process flow, and carrying out critical path and capacity analyses. You’ll develop manning profiles, recommend balanced workloads and staffing levels in partnership with production teams, and support the integrity and accuracy of standard time data. In addition, you’ll contribute to both bottom-up and top-down manufacturing cost estimates for new projects, helping ensure plans are realistic, data-driven, and inclusive of the needs of the wider team.

    Core duties:

    • You’ll have a relevant qualification or training, such as a minimum HND (or equivalent) or completion of a recognised apprenticeship.
    • You’ll have experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally within an Industrial Engineering or similar continuous improvement role.
    • You’ll have considerable knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies, with a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and production control.
    • You’ll be confident using digital tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, to analyse data and present insights clearly.
    • You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of the organisation.

    The F35 Industrial Engineering Team:

    • Industrial Engineering works collaboratively across Manufacturing Engineering to improve how we work. By using tools such as standard time values, timing trees, observations, work balance boards, bids, discrete event simulation, and bottom-up estimates, the team helps standardise processes, improve visibility, reduce waste, and support accurate, data-driven manufacturing decisions.

    Senior Quality Engineer

    Salary: Up to £49,522 depending on skills and experience
    What you’ll be doing:

    • In this role, you will carry out supplier audits and product verifications while implementing Surveillance Plans, Quality Plans, and Inspection & Test Plans across the supply chain. You will assess supplier quality risk, review contractual quality requirements, and ensure readiness through Pre‑Production Reviews.
    • You will also ensure closure of supplier non‑conformances while identifying opportunities for improvement. Provide technical oversight by accurately interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, supporting consistent delivery of high‑quality products.

    Core duties:

    • Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance and performance
    • Perform product verifications against technical and contractual requirements
    • Implemention of Surveillance Plans, Quality Plans, and Inspection & Test Plans
    • Review and interpret contractual quality deliverables for accuracy and completeness
    • Analyse and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications

    Account Manager

    Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on skills and experience

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Deputise for the Head of Defence Digital Account
    • Will be the primary sales lead for opportunities within the Defence Digital Account Area. This will cover prospecting, qualification, opportunity development, bid and proposal development, negotiation and sales closure – Delivering OI to meet the target as set

    • Able to lead specific Account Management activity and manage the activity through to handover to the delivery team
    • Very good experience in identifying, creating and developing new opportunities from existing Accounts and driving growth

    Assistant Company Secretary

    Salary: Circa £80,000 plus executive benefits

    What you’ll be doing:

    • You’ll support the Senior Assistant Company Secretary in managing day-to-day plc corporate matters, including preparing briefing materials on regulatory and governance developments. You’ll lead a global corporate governance change project, contribute to ad hoc initiatives, and identify ways to improve processes and ways of working. You’ll ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements, keeping up to date with emerging best practice and legislation, while advising Directors and Corporate Secretariat team members on company law, Articles of Association, Group policies, and governance processes.
    • You’ll provide specialist insight on governance across the Group’s subsidiaries, supporting senior stakeholders on company secretarial matters, governance best practice initiatives, and authorised signatory arrangements. You’ll organise and service subsidiary board meetings, prepare agendas, papers, and minutes, and manage company incorporations, statutory filings, and legal entity records. You’ll also oversee subsidiary-related projects, ensuring accurate governance, company law compliance, and record-keeping.
    • You’ll coach and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on governance and company secretarial practices, while helping colleagues prioritise and reallocate workloads as business needs change. You’ll support shareholder and share plan processes, maintaining accurate records of share capital and statutory corporate documentation. You’ll also keep up to date with developments in company secretarial practice, IT solutions, and knowledge management, identifying opportunities to enhance governance processes and team effectiveness.

    Core duties:

    • You’ll hold a Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) qualification or equivalent and have substantial experience in a corporate secretariat function
    • You’ll have experience in a listed company environment, ideally within a large multinational organisation
    • You’ll possess in-depth knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements for UK listed companies, with proven expertise in corporate governance and compliance
    • You’ll demonstrate the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including administrators and service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery
    • You’ll be confident coaching colleagues, leading projects, and implementing continuous improvements to governance processes and ways of working

    Senior Assistant Company Secretary (12 month FTC)

    Salary: Circa £108,000 depending on experience plus executive benefits

    What you’ll be doing:

    • You’ll lead the subsidiary governance team, taking responsibility for the effective governance of the Group’s subsidiary portfolio. Acting as Company Secretary for designated subsidiaries, you’ll ensure the subsidiary governance framework is clearly communicated to all relevant stakeholders. You’ll support senior directors and officers on governance, company law, and regulatory matters, while managing board meetings, drafting proposals and resolutions, producing minutes, and submitting statutory and regulatory filings. You’ll oversee director induction programmes, governance training, and company secretarial aspects of corporate events, as well as manage the Group’s corporate structure through incorporations, strike-offs, and liquidations. Additionally, you’ll contribute to plc governance reporting and advise on Articles of Association and proposed changes for domestic and overseas subsidiaries.

    Core duties:

    • You’ll be a Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) qualified professional, or hold an equivalent qualification, with proven experience in a corporate secretariat function, ideally within a plc
    • You’ll have in-depth knowledge of the Companies Act 2006, company secretarial practices, and ancillary regulations, including Disclosure Guidance & Transparency Rules, Listed Rules, UK Governance Code, EU Market Abuse Regulation, and Shareholder Rights Directive
    • You’ll demonstrate strong leadership, effectively guiding teams, managing workloads, and supporting colleagues in achieving business objectives
    • You’ll be proficient with Blueprint/GEMS and Microsoft Office, and able to advise on compliance, governance, and corporate events across subsidiaries
    • You’ll lead on AGM preparation, support annual report processes, and review statutory accounts and Directors’ Reports for accuracy and compliance

    The Legal Team:

    • This role sits within our Head Office Legal function. You will be supporting various BAE Systems key stakeholders up to board level, in a role where every day is different!
