    Global Category Specialist, Global Brand Teams

    Overview of the Role

    • This role is incredibly exciting, as you will drive our Global Marketing Procurement strategic objectives and empower our Global Brand Teams (GBTs) with delivery of their critical brand ambitions through exceptional business partnerships across all A&P categories. As part of this role, you will manage sophisticated, multi‑brand A&P portfolios, across multiple locations and time zones with consistency, pace, and with commercial and strategic leadership.

    Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    • Build influential relationships across the Global Brand Teams, shaping strategic and investment decisions and enabling delivery through CCTs and ABCs. Position Procurement as a trusted, long‑term strategic partner in the GBT landscape.
    • Architect and optimise the GBTs’ integrated agency ecosystem, ensuring the right capabilities are aligned to brand ambitions. Lead brand ecosystem design to support wider global marketing transformation initiatives
    • Lead the RCP across specific brands with the ongoing two way flow of insights into global marketing procurement category teams strengthen global partner strategies and long‑term agency relationships.
    • Drive best‑in‑class sourcing across critical spend categories—for brands by leading negotiations, shaping strategic plans, managing agency selection processes, and ensuring robust contracting that delivers value and impact for Diageo.
    • Partner with global category teams to co‑create and activate category strategies, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end execution that advances GBT and business priorities.
    • Accelerate the adoption of digital procurement tools, workflow technologies, and AI‑enabled productivity platforms. Act as a digital ambassador, collaborating with cross‑functional digital and technology teams to enhance ways of working.
    • Work collaboratively across the procurement team to ensure delivery against all workstreams and interdependencies, supporting both day‑to‑day priorities and high‑impact strategic projects.
    • Contribute to strategic development within Global CoEs, ensuring market realities, local nuances, and GBT‑specific needs are fully reflected in global approaches.
    • Uphold the highest standards of compliance through rigorous risk management, spend monitoring, segmentation, savings tracking, performance reporting, and best‑practice contracting and benchmarking.
    • Leverage tools, analytics, and performance data to challenge the status quo, generate new strategic pathways, and influence high‑quality commercial decision-making.
    • Demonstrate deep expertise across A&P spend areas, leading the delivery of projects that maximise value and performance in partnership with marketing partners.
    • Actively champion initiatives that contribute to Diageo’s Spirit of Progress goals, embedding sustainability, responsibility, and long‑term value creation into marketing procurement decisions.
    • Partner fluidly across multiple categories to support enterprise-wide procurement programmes, contributing to cross-functional impact and broader procurement excellence.

You will contribute to regular forums and collaboration sessions that drive strategic alignment, share standards, and strengthen global category strategies. Through this engagement, you will continuously build your own expertise while elevating the capability of others—helping shape a high‑performing, future‑ready procurement organisation.

    Requirements

    • You will bring a strong track record of shaping and managing integrated agency ecosystems end‑to‑end, from strategic development and sourcing through to performance optimisation and continuous improvement.

    Credit Controller

    Purpose of Role 

    • To support a fast order to cash process through the timely collection and posting of payments to customer accounts.
    • To provide a first class, value-added, customer experience to both private clients and on trade customers and to support the private client sales team, the on trade sales team and the Hong Kong private client sales team 
    • To work within a solid control environment and fully support and promote our compliance agenda.

    Key Accountabilities 

    • Responsible for a large number of varied and complex debtor accounts both Private Client and Trade customers
    • Collection of cash to trading terms
    • Allocate payments to invoices on accounts
    • Manage and prepare direct debit payments for customers
    • Answer telephones
    • Resolve customer queries including copy invoices, account amendments, proof of deliveries
    • Perform credit checks for new customers and support the onboarding process
    • Support an annual credit limit review for all customers
    • Month end reporting of aged debt and bad debt
    • Support all sales teams, private client, on trade and Hong Kong with accounting requests

    Qualifications & Experience Required 

    • Experience in a wine and spirits business an advantage 
    • Credit control experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication 
    • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders 
    • Strong IT and data analysis skills including the use of a wine industry ERP, case management system, Excel and Power BI. 
    • Proven track record in a fast paced, customer facing environment 
    • Good attention to detail 
    • Open to change and continual development

    Shift Manager

    About the Role

    • As the Shift Manager at Baileys, you will provide leadership to the operational shift teams with specific responsibilities in several key areas listed below.
    • You will ensure the production of top-quality products in a safe and hygienic environment, maintaining compliance standards.

    People Performance:

    • Achieve high performance through excellent engagement, coaching, and mentoring, challenge and manage poor performance, foster a high-performance coaching culture, ensure 100% completion of individual 1:1s and Personal Development Plans, and deploy people management processes consistently. You will also maintain positive relationships with team members, trade unions, and the wider site team, work closely with the training department to ensure appropriate training.

    About You

    • We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager, ideally with a background in manufacturing or FMCG environments, who can demonstrate exceptional leadership and is either IOSH certified or willing to work towards this qualification. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant subject such as food science, quality, or engineering, or possess an equivalent level of experience. A strong working knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and
    • standards is essential, along with the ability to manage the performance, coaching, and development of a multi-disciplined team.
    • The ideal candidate will be proactive and possess structured problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities to develop and sustain robust relationships, and experience working in a challenging FMCG environment.
