    HR Business Partner

    Job Overview

    Team/Role Overview:

    The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner (BP) is a senior level position responsible for leading the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Human Resources team. The overall objective of this role is to provide a broad range of HR services to client groups within Citi.

    What you'll do:

    • Deliver HR services and build capabilities to drive organisational performance through individuals and managers as well as identify issues and recommend solutions
    • Responsible for HR delivery and implementation across the employee lifecycle
    • Partner with business managers to resolve Employee Relations (ER) issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and risks are assessed
    • Partner with Human Resource Advisors (HRAs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs) on HR priorities in respective client populations to ensure delivery and implementation of HR solutions
    • Coordinate and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of global priorities and life cycle processes
    • Work with HRA global partners and regional HR Generalists to ensure consistent communication and delivery of HR solutions and processes
    • Coordinate and consult with country HR partners to deliver regional activities
    • Lead and/or initiate cross Citi projects as well as train new team members
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    What we'll need from you:

    • Relevant HR experience
    • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
    • Working knowledge of HR functions
    • Working knowledge of applicable US laws
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft
    • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

    Product Specialist, Prime Finance

    Primary Responsibilities of the role

    • Develop and structure innovative Prime Finance solutions tailored to client needs, encompassing a range of products including Swaps, Stock Loans, and Repos.
    • Lead negotiations with internal and external stakeholders on Prime Finance structures, actively driving solutions and managing booking model changes.
    • Collaborate closely with sales, trading, legal, risk, and operations teams to ensure effective delivery and execution of solutions.
    • Analyse market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to identify new product opportunities and enhance existing offerings.
    • Provide subject matter expertise on funding, stock lending, and margin loan booking models, demonstrating a strong understanding of financing structuring and the ability to conduct in-depth analysis.
    • Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the Prime Finance product suite.

    What we need from you

    • Extensive direct experience in a product role within a Prime Finance business.
    • Proven expertise and working knowledge of funding, stock lending, and margin loan booking models, coupled with a deep understanding of financing structuring and the ability to conduct robust analysis.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop, structure, and negotiate complex financial products.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating financial concepts into actionable strategies and driving solutions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
    • High degree of independence and self-motivation, with a track record of successfully driving initiatives and projects to completion.
