    Group Tax Advisor

    Function/Business Unit Overview

    This role sits within the Group Tax Function.

    Reporting Relationships

    The Group Tax Advisor will report to the Group Head of Tax.  They will provide support to the Group Senior Tax Manager & work closely with the rest of the Group Tax & Treasury Function, Group & Local Finance teams and Local Tax Teams.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities  

    • Assist with the collation and preparation of information to be provided to external advisers for completion of outsourced corporation tax computations
    • Assist with tracking of due dates and submission deadlines for assigned corporation tax returns
    • Assist with the collation and preparation of information to be provided to external advisers for completion of outsourced R&D and patent box claims
    • Assist with the calculation of quarterly instalment payments & group payment arrangement and reconciling balances to government gateway & other sources as appropriate
    • Assist with the year end and interim Group Tax Reporting process, including collating information and completing detailed tax analysis work, completing tax packs and corporation tax journals for review
    • Support with External auditors’ queries as part of year end and interim reporting as required
    • Maintain records of group tax references and other Group Tax records
    • Assist with preparation of Plastic Packaging Tax returns
    • Assist with employment tax or indirect tax filings /queries as required
    • Assist with other taxation projects arising from business needs
    • Assist with administrative tasks for the Group Tax Function as required
    • Maintain and expand technical tax knowledge through professional development activities

    Criteria 

    • ATT / Part-qualified CTA will be considered, 4+ years of relevant experience
    • Competent in Microsoft office applications including excel
    • Study support for available
    • Ability to manage and plan own workload to deadlines, including handling conflicting and changing priorities
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate tax concepts effectively to non-tax professionals

    Head of Digital and Ecommerce

    Job Purpose

    The Head of Digital and eCommerce is responsible for shaping and leading the commercial digital growth strategy; optimising online channels, leading a high performing team and ensuring our brands win in a fast moving, highly competitive and accelerating channel.

    Function Overview

    Digital and Ecommerce sits within the broader Commercial function, incorporating Distributor, Wholesale, Grocery, Discounter and High Street channels, Category and Commercial Strategy and Planning.

    Reporting Relationships

    The role reports into the Europe Sales Director and has a combination of direct and indirect reports.

    Job context & scope

    Key Duties and Responsibilities  

    • Digital and Ecommerce Strategy Developmentdefine and execute a market leading ecommerce strategy to accelerate revenue growth across channels (D2C, pureplay, marketplaces, omnichannel retailers), translating consumer, shopper and category insights into clear digital growth plans 
    • P&L Ownership and Commercial Delivery – own the ecommerce P&L, revenue targets and profitability across channels, managing trade budgets and optimizing spending across channels to drive sales performance, underpinned by effective planning, forecasting and ROI centric investment decisions
    • Strengthen Digital Brand Presence by building a cohesive ecosystem across websites, social, paid media, CRM and digital content, to ensure digital experiences reflect brand identity and meet consumer expectations
    • Partner with Key Retailers and Platforms to manage relationships with online retail partners, and improve product discoverability, digital shelf performance, ratings and reviews, and trade spend effectiveness
    • Lead Digital Transformation through championing the use of digital tools, data and automation to enhance marketing and sales effectiveness, and drive cross functional digital capability across marketing, sales and supply chain
    • Ensure Operational Excellence through overseeing digital operations such as site performance, product content, merchandising, stock availability and fulfillment partnerships
    • Build an Integrated Ecommerce Ecosystem to elevate digital capability across teams and enable the business to win online at scale
    • Lead and Develop highly capable, high performing teams through fostering innovation, agility and a test and learn culture

    Capabilities, Skills and Experience

    • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
    • Significant experience in eCommerce or digital sales with the ability to define a multi-channel online growth strategy across marketplaces, channels and digital media.  
    • Strong demonstrable knowledge of eCommerce platforms, marketplaces and performance metrics
    • Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of P&L drivers, online customer economics, omnichannel demand levers and digital return on investment
    • Digital transformation leadership and experience of embedding ways of working, tools, processes across the wider organisation
    • Business planning and forecasting, with the ability to build accurate digital channel forecast and integrate them into broader category and commercial plans
    • Deep understanding of retailer.com, marketplace management, content excellence and website experience
    • Technical and data capabilities in data analytics, insight generation, digital shelf tools and customer journey mapping
    • Strong leadership and influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively 
    • Proven ability and passion in capability building to upskill teams cross functionally and strengthen the organisations digital muscle
    • Change leadership – comfortable in managing ambiguity, driving adoption of new tools and processes and leading organisational transformation

    Demand Planning Manager

    The Role

    We are looking for an attentive and detail-oriented individual with clear communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display strong decision making and has a deep understanding of Supply chin and Forecasting principles. You will be reporting to the Senior Customer Collaboration Manager, and you will be working with the rest of the Demand Planning team as the interface between the Customer Supply Chain and the business, hosting regular forecasting review meetings and be the integration point into the sales and commercial organisation.

    Duties/Accountabilities:

    • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
    • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
    • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
    • Interact with sales, marketing, and customer collaborative contacts to understand demand forecast drivers.
    • Use the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
    • Provide input to the Supply Planning organisation to support developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
    • Develop and maintain a suite of reports/templates to be used in the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process to analyse Forecast Changes, YOY movements.
    • IBP Process - challenge the ways of working to improve the quality of information/analysis in the various forums (Commercial Planning Meeting, Forecast Consensus Meeting).
    • Prepare and Maintain relevant Customer Specific Reports to include Stock Holding, Sales Data and Stock Cover where appropriate
    • Track, review and publish promotional sales performance and promotional evaluations for the customers allocated
    • Track, review and action on shelf availability numbers for the customers allocated
    • Support the JSCP’s for the customers allocated

    Key Attributes/Skills:

    • Experience in commercial planning within FMCG
    • IT literate with experience of MS office applications
    • Intermediate or advanced Excel skills essential
    • SAP APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) experience essential
    • Deep understanding of Supply Chain and Forecasting principles
    • Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills. Comfortable liaising with individuals at all levels
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Able to work to strict deadlines and remain calm under pressure
