We’re looking for a Customer Agriculture Manager to manage key relationships between our customers, aligned dairy farmers and Müller Milk & Ingredients (MMI). This role plays a vital part in ensuring our farming network meets the needs of the business plan through effective coordination, communication, and support of sustainability and supply initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with aligned dairy farmers to ensure compliance with scheme standards and business objectives.
Coordinate supply and demand to meet customer requirements, including peak and future needs.
Liaise regularly with customer buyers, agricultural teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
Assist and influence customers in the formulation of future strategies related to their aligned milk pool.
Lead and support initiatives related to dairy farming schemes, including sustainability and quality improvement projects.
Communicate consistently with dairy farmers and elected representatives to foster engagement and feedback.
Support sustainability goals by collaborating with the Agriculture Sustainability Manager and implementing relevant practices.
Analyse complex data sets related to milk supply, farm performance, and scheme metrics, presenting insights in reports and visual formats.
Represent the business at meetings, events, and forums relevant to dairy farming and agricultural partnerships.
Ensure professional standards in all interactions, maintaining a proactive, diplomatic, and methodical approach.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills across all levels and with external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data interpretation.
Working knowledge of milk quality standards and improvement actions.
Clear written and verbal reasoning for effective reporting and presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Solid understanding of dairy farming, supply chains, and sustainability is desirable.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Collaborative team player with a professional and methodical approach.
Be prepared to travel across the UK for customer and farmer meetings.
