    Interface Manager

    Role Description:

    We are looking for an Interface Manager with significant Engineering Discipline experience to join our Project Engineering team.

    Key Responsibilities for an Interface Manager include

    • Supporting the Engineering Manager in the development of project Interface Management planning and execution documentation.
    • Implementation of the Interface Management Process, including of identification, assessment, control and mitigation processes.
    • Coordination of all interface work processes in support of the project, ensuring effective integration of different stakeholders.
    • Being familiar with the contract terms and scope of work, communicate them properly to the engineering staff, and key stakeholders.
    • Work with the engineering disciplines to ensure responsibilities are well understood for input to interface management.
    • Manage resolution and closure of external interfaces for all project disciplines including, Piping, Process, Mechanical, HVAC, Structural, Electrical and Operations.
    • Conduct workshops to resolve issues that are identified by key stakeholders.
    • Support the continuous development of KBR work methods and procedures.

    Key Attributes / Skills

    • Experience in project delivery as an Interface Manager across different phases of projects FEED and EPC.
    • Collaborates well within a team environment and demonstrates good communications skills for internal and external stakeholders.  
    • Demonstratable flexibility and ability to adapt to changing project-related priorities and deliver high quality, accurate work within deadlines.
    • Ability to work with clients to resolve issues, including conflicting demands, sensitive situations, and conflicts with other groups.
    • Experience of working with clients in lump sum environments with a focus on change management.
    • Extensive, broad relevant process, mechanical, project engineering and project services experience in the oil and gas industry
    • IT literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite and in particular Microsoft Project.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in major engineering discipline or equivalent
    • Professional accreditation with registered Institution or Engineering Council or equivalent
