    Senior Product Marketing Manager

    The Role:

    Lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies that drive profitable growth, strengthen brand equity and deliver superior consumer value. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will own the plans, manage product positioning and messaging, and collaborate cross functionally to ensure flawless execution of launches and in market activates. By leveraging deep consumer and market insights this role will enable sustainable category leadership while inspiring and developing high performing team.

    • Innovation, NNS, market share growth and profit growth – over 1-3 years

    Key Accountabilities

    • Deliver a 3-year innovation pipeline and roadmap across all brands in Europe, translating pipeline projects into feasible and resourced project plans, achieving timely on budget innovation launches    
    • Lead the end-to-end product development process, converting consumer and category trends to product concepts, and delivery from ideation to launch to deliver consumer relevant and commercially viable products on time and in budget
    • Contribute to and implement the assessment and recommendations around improvements to the current branded portfolio, optimising Price, Pack, Architecture mix for optimal revenue growth
    • Manage a small team, developing capabilities and fostering a high-performance culture to ensure effective execution of product plans
    • Day to day management of suppliers with regards to formula development, CPAs, COGs and testing
    • Identify and develop innovation gaps with standout launch messaging
    • Optimise the product lifecycle, including pricing, assortment, and rationalisation decisions to ensure portfolio efficiency and maximize return on investment 
    • To identify and develop ‘hygiene’ factor elevation in our formula and pack execution to elevate our position beyond our competition e.g. ingredient, fragrance, sensorial and emotive benefits beyond our current offering
    • Monitor product performance through key metrics, consumer data and financial indicators to identify opportunities and risks, enabling proactive portfolio management
    • Influence senior stakeholders with compelling, data backed proposals to secure buy in and resources for key product initiatives, accelerating profitable growth

    Capabilities, Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
    • Significant experience in innovation marketing roles
    • Proven track record of translating business and consumer insights into impactful and successful product launches and market activations
    • Product Management experience at a senior level, with a background of managing and delivering NPD (ideally with 3rd party supplier) from concept to launch on time and on budget (essential).
    • Strong leadership skills to motivate and engage a team
    • Strategic thinking ability to translate business and consumer insights int impactful product marketing strategies that drive growth and brand strength
    • Passion and enthusiasm for our brands, and general knowledge of global industry and trends.
    • Experience of category and our supply network preferential (but not essential).
    • Commercial understanding of product development and margin management.
    • Knowledge of the competitive set and retail environment
    • Excellent communication and story telling skills for influencing both internal and external stakeholders
    • Solid financial skills, including budgeting and P&L understanding
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify opportunities and measure success
