    Chief Marketing and Growth Officer

    • The University of Bradford is entering a pivotal phase of growth and transformation. We are seeking an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer to join our Executive team and play a central role in shaping our future.
    • Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, the Chief Marketing Officer is a newly created executive role with responsibility for marketing, brand, communications, student recruitment, admissions and compliance, engagement, alumni relations and philanthropy.     • The Chief Marketing Officer will lead the development and delivery of a bold, future-focused marketing and global recruitment strategy that drives sustainable growth in student numbers across home and international markets. You will oversee the evolution of the University’s brand and digital presence, ensuring it is distinctive, values-led and market-responsive, and that it supports a high-quality, end-to-end applicant experience.
    • As a core member of the University Executive, you will provide expert advice to the Vice-Chancellor, Executive Team and Council on brand, reputation, market positioning, risk and opportunity. You will bring an evidence-led and commercially astute approach, underpinned by robust market insight, analytics and forecasting, and will work closely with academic and professional leaders to ensure that portfolio development and recruitment activity are aligned with institutional priorities.
    • You will also provide strategic leadership for corporate communications, public affairs, media and crisis communications, and for the University’s alumni engagement and philanthropy agenda, strengthening advocacy, partnerships and long-term support for the institution.
    • We are seeking a senior leader with significant experience in marketing, communications and recruitment at scale, either within higher education or a comparable complex organisation. You will bring a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, strong executive presence, and the ability to lead and inspire large multidisciplinary teams through change.

    Placements Officer

    What you will be doing:

    • Act as a first point of contact for students on placement, dealing with complaints and resolving complex cases, providing general advice, guidance, information and support. 
    • Provide information on University regulations or PSRB requirements relating to placements to both students and staff.
    • Be responsible for the maintenance of the student records, ensuring that the Student Record System (SITS) and Placements Management System and other associated systems are kept fully up to date in accordance with University processes. 
    • Provide support and information to academic staff associated with placement delivery, in particular Placement Tutors, including assessed reasons and a rationale to enable decision making where necessary.
    • Maintain an administrative overview of all students on placement, ensuring relevant processes are adhered to.
    • Support the provision of accurate placement information to the website, including maintaining web pages where required.
    • Maintain an administrative overview of all aspects of placements, and support the delivery of key placement management processes.
    • Order materials required for placements as required, working with the university financial systems and regulations to complete purchase orders, reconcile and process invoices as needed to ensure outstanding commitments are cleared. 
    • Undertake all key administrative process associated with placements

    Qualifications/ experience:

    • Experience of working in an administrative role
    • Experience of using a variety of IT packages to a high standard, including word processing packages, spreadsheets and databases
    • Experience of taking minutes and providing information at meetings 
    • Experience of understanding and working to a range of established procedures and regulations.

    Timetabling Support Officer

    What you will be doing:

    • To provide efficient timetabling support and room booking service to the University.
    • To analyse and deal with large complex datasets to schedule timetables with a broad use of related IT application, including MS Office.
    • To provide professional customer support service within a busy organisational structure 
    • To prioritise workload under pressure with a positive creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.

    People Systems & Data Analyst

    What you will be doing:

    The post of People Systems & Data Analyst reports to the People Systems & Data Manager and the main objectives of the role are to facilitate the extraction and analysis of a wide range of data to maintain internal and external information requirements, the production of statutory returns, and to ensure the best possible information is available to support institutional planning and decision making. In addition, the People Systems & Data Analyst plays an important role in the administration, testing and development of multiple People systems within the University.

    Main duties and responsibilities

    • Work with the People Systems & Data Manager to agree requirements and outputs for people-related management information.
    • To prepare, analyse and report regular and accurate employee data, management information and statistics, e.g., headcount, FTE, sickness, absence, new starters and leavers, retention rates etc., meeting required deadlines and working with key internal and external data sets to provide this.
    • To be responsible for the development of the University charter submissions, supporting and providing detailed data sets to all Faculties and liaising with other teams within the University to accomplish this.
    • To be responsible for the production of quarterly, annual and ad-hoc People profile reports and scheduled regular reports detailing employee statistics to Faculties and senior management.

    Qualifications/ experience:

    • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 and associated Microsoft products
    • Experience with People systems or software
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience in coordination of projects relating to systems and software.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-orientated environment. Positive can-do attitude, solution focused.
