The role of a Transport Operations Officer is to provide and support a safe and efficient operating environment for pedestrians and vehicles on all University campuses; helping to maximise the use of established transport facilities throughout the campus; discourage unauthorised mobility behaviour whilst exercising restraint and discretion and always giving due respect to all.
The successful candidate will be carrying out a range of duties supporting inspections, marshalling services and safety patrols; assist in providing traffic supervision throughout the campuses in relation to traffic flow, parking, events, and large deliveries in accordance with Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
Working Arrangements
- The role works on a 5 over 7 shift pattern which rotates to support day, evening and weekend operations.

This role is responsible for the provision of comprehensive administrative support to the School’s undergraduate programmes, supporting colleagues and students on their journey from recruitment through to graduation.
You will provide administrative support for our undergraduate courses within the School of Engineering, and support administration as required for our joint Undergraduate, Degree Apprenticeship and Postgraduate Taught programmes.
