    UK Logistics Leader

    Purpose of the Role

    • To define and implement the logistics and distribution strategy across the UK region, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role acts as the key Supply Chain representative within the EM UK Leadership Team and is responsible for managing logistics operations, stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic & Financial Leadership

    • Develop and deploy the logistics and distribution strategy for UK.
    • Represent Supply Chain in the UK Leadership Team.
    • Own the UK logistics and distribution budget (~$20M), ensuring accurate quarterly forecasting and financial reporting.

    Operational Management

    • Oversee all physical logistics operations for finished goods from receipt to final customer delivery.
    • Ensure optimisation of cost and service levels across the logistics network.
    • Vendor management.

    Customer & Commercial Engagement

    • Partner with the Commercial team to maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Lead regular meetings with the Top 8 customers and strategic reviews with Supply Chain Directors/Senior Managers from our UK Top retailers.
    • Establish strong connections between UK logistics and UK commercial teams.

    Continuous Improvement & Safety

    • Initiate and lead improvement projects and investment proposals to enhance safety, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
    • Ensure safety compliance across EM logistics facilities in the UK.
    • Lead risk assessment activities and represent logistics in crisis management scenarios.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Actively participate in the UK S&OP process, including Supply and Demand Reviews, MBRs.
    • Represent UK Logistics in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
    • Foster collaboration with logistics teams across WCE/EMEA to drive synergies and best practice sharing.

    Talent Development & Compliance

    • Support talent development across WCE/EMEA Supply Chain teams and third-party logistics providers.
    • Ensure compliance with KC standards, code of conduct, procedures, and control frameworks.

    To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
    • Extensive experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management, ideally in FMCG or Personal Care.
    • Proven track record in managing 3PL providers and transportation networks.
    • Strong knowledge of UK logistics regulations, health & safety, and quality compliance.
    • Demonstrated success in cost management, process optimization, and performance improvement.
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience with SAP, TMS/WMS systems, and logistics analytics tools.
    • Background in regional or multi-market logistics roles.
    • Exposure to sustainability initiatives (carbon reduction, green transport, etc.).
