    Commercial Event Manager

    About You  

    • As Commercial Event Manager, you will lead the Event Management and Sales & Event Management teams, taking strategic and operational responsibility for how events are planned, coordinated and delivered once contracted.
    • You will act as the senior bridge between sales, operations and clients — ensuring seamless handover, disciplined planning, effective upselling and a calm, confident presence on complex or high-profile events. While you will oversee conversion performance for short-lead activity, your core impact comes from strong leadership, process excellence and commercial control throughout the event lifecycle.

    Senior HR Systems Specialist

    About You  

    • You will have sophisticated technical expertise of SAP UK Payroll, both through delivering changes and carrying out support.  You will have evidence of a strong understanding of UK Payroll legislation, statutory calculations and HMRC processes as well as excellent general IT. 
    • You work with a high degree of accuracy and with attention to detail. You will be at ease working within a team and demonstrate the flexibility to prioritise and manage a number of operational support activities at a time. You already understand how common payroll and pension business processes work, and you may even have experience of the UK Public Sector. 
    • Experience of integrations from SuccessFactors to on-premise SAP Payroll would be advantageous, as would a basic knowledge of ABAP and debugging.

    Food & Beverage Team Leader

    About You  

    • We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to assist in the supervision and management of food & beverage service across the Warwick Conferences portfolio, ensuring all standards are maintained to a high level so customers receive the best possible service. You’ll have delegated responsibility for leading the team on shift in addition to overseeing training to develop a fantastic, service focused team and embedding Warwick Conferences high standards. You will be required to work any 5 days in 7 across a variety of shifts between the hours of 7am – midnight, including weekends. As this role focuses on Bar service areas, working hours will primarily take place in the evenings.
    • By working closely with the Manager and Assistant Manager you’ll assist with managing shifts and the supervision of a team of both contracted and Unitemps Food and Beverage Assistants to maintain the excellence of our offering. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage service and be a point of contact for our customers, providing advice and assistance, ensuring any queries are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner.
    • Your responsibilities will include leading the team in a guest focussed way by ensuring the service areas are welcoming and ready for business. You’ll ensure the team are prepared, knowledgeable and motivated by delivering a pre-service briefing, ensuring all service checklists are completed and upsell opportunities are maximised.
    • Your keen eye for detail will ensure everything is exactly right and address any basic team issues or concerns, escalating to the line manager as required. You’ll thrive with supporting the wider business in helping to maximise income and profitability. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining Health and Safety standards, particularly regarding Food Safety and allergen protocols.

    About You  

    • The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of business development and/or key account management within a manufacturing environment. 
    • They will have strong competence in understanding how each of the different innovation and technology programs within WMG can apply to each individual client, and they will feel comfortable engaging with stakeholders on both technical and commercial discussions across the engineering and manufacturing sector.
    • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate success in either securing new business or working on strategic accounts to improve growth and understanding the market competitiveness in an organisation. 
    • The candidate should have a clear strategic approach and capability to understand where priorities should be focused, and be fully committed to act as a trusted ambassador for WMG.
