    Marketing Manager

    As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for all brand strategy and activation for the UK. We’re on an exciting journey transforming our marketing communications, delivering bold, insight-led campaigns that resonate nationally while staying deeply connected to the local communities we serve. As our marketing manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our brand strategy, driving integrated through-the-line campaigns and making sure our marketing efforts deliver impact across every channel driving brand affinity and commercial impact.

    We’ll look to you to bring your previous experience in marketing or advertising, ideally in a large, fast-paced, multi-site environment. Ideally, you’ll have experience both agency and client-side with digital, social and experiential marketing too. We’re looking for someone who’s a strong communicator with the ability to think strategically and creatively, whilst building strong relationships with our external agencies, suppliers and business partners.

    The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working as our marketing manager, you’ll get involved in:

    • Parenting with the senior marketing manager to develop and implement the annual operating plan and UK brand plans including media investment strategy
    • Collaborating internally and with our global creative agency to craft locally relevant, culturally resonant brand communications for both ATL and BTL channels
    • Owning the end-to-end campaign planning and execution process, from insight-led marketing briefs, campaign budgets, asset development to tracking and reporting performance against annual KPIs.
    • Leading the development of our strategic “always-on” approach for key channels
    • Parntering with our social agency to create playbooks and guidelines, establishing best in class performance frameworks and reporting
    • Developing brand-first experiential guidelines that integrate seamlessly with seasonal campaigns
    • Optimising our commercial performance in store driving improved sales and margin performance for our in-store brand activation strategies
    • Working with the global and EMEA teams to implement tactical cultural campaigns across the calendar year to surprise and delight our customers
    • Supporting the quarterly business reviews across the agency ecosystem to drive continually commercial efficiencies and improved ways of working

    Finance Analyst

    As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for providing insightful, actionable analysis and reporting to the functional areas you support. You’ll be a key supporter of business decisions and hold the teams you support to account on delivering key business objectives. The great thing about a finance analyst at Starbucks UK is that you’ll also get a exposure to business partnering and working cross-functionally with our teams.

    We’ll look to you to bring your previous finance analytical experience in a fast-paced, matrixed, multi-site organisation. You’ll have worked in-house rather than just in practice and have a strong analytical mindset. You’ll be part-qualified with strong communication skills with the ability to flex your style to communicate with individuals on all levels, often explaining complex finance to non-finance partners. You’ll ideally have experience with Power BI and Anaplan but it’s essential you have extensive Microsoft Office experience including Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Providing insightful, accurate and timely analysis of their business functions, with an exciting blend of ad hoc and regular reporting. Harnessing the power of data and visualisation to better present information and drive better business decision making
    • Business partnering with key functions including Operations and PRO (HR) across both the UK and CHAT regions to provide key data and insights for onward decision making and analysis
    • Being a steward, maintaining a strong control environment and objectively challenging commercial and operational stakeholders in the right way. You’ll have the opportunity to challenge as well as support stakeholders around commercial decision making, using data and analysis to drive key decisions. This may involve working with stakeholders both in the field and right up to directors in the support centre
    • Being a catalyst for business growth, by understanding the business strategy and analysing commercial opportunities
    • Contributing to the strategic business direction and act as a stakeholder in the decision-making process
    • Balancing capabilities, costs, and service levels to support effective joint business planning and provide business expertise
    • Building a robust and well thought out forecast and budget that aligns to the key business objectives and reflects the operational plans of their business partners
    • Preparing management reports and insights, liaising with stakeholders to ensure accountability and collaborative business planning. Analysing results against budget, forecast, and prior year, and discuss variances with stakeholders
    • Supporting month-end reporting, providing commentary and explanations for variances in the monthly financial pack as well as supporting in ad-hoc forecasting, quarterly forecasting and annual business planning
    • Maintaining data integrity in financial systems and manage data-related projects, playing a key role in the data management strategy
