    Sales & Distribution Performance Analyst

    Overview of Sales

These teams ensure that we achieve excellence throughout our sales operations in the UK and deliver on our customer promises. Our teams of experts continually monitor activity and manage our sales and service delivery, to ensure that we are maximising our performance. We work hand in hand with our dealers to deliver success – through supporting new product tours, VIP promotional activities, and our dealer excellence programme – we create and sustain the Nissan marketplace of the future.

    Overall Purpose of Role

The primary purpose of this role is to optimise new vehicle supply and support Nissan’s Customer First objectives by operating at the intersection of Supply Planning & Distribution and Sales Operations. The role ensures a smooth and efficient flow of vehicles from order placement through production, delivery and registration, while also strengthening the analytical and reporting capabilities that underpin Sales planning and performance.

Working closely with the Nissan Dealer Network, logistics partners (NDS), and internal Sales Operations teams, this role supports both operational execution and the development of improved processes, tools and reporting. A key focus is the harmonisation, automation and modernisation of data and reporting, helping the wider team move away from manual Excel/Access‑based reporting toward scalable, automated solutions using platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.

Success requires a strong cross‑functional mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to translate business needs into robust analytical outputs. Strong organisation, data analysis capability and proficiency with Office 365 and modern BI tools are essential.

    Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting, Analytics & Tool Development (Logistics + Sales Operations)

    • Develop, maintain and distribute accurate, timely reporting across Supply Planning, Distribution and Sales Operations, including order bank, deliveries, sales performance and stock visibility.
    • Lead the transition from manual Excel/Access reporting to automated, scalable solutions using Tableau, Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate.
    • Harmonise reporting across Logistics and Sales Operations to eliminate duplication, ensure data consistency and improve accessibility for internal teams and the dealer network.
    • Partner with Sales Operations to design and deliver analytical tools that support Sales Planning, Forecasting, Sales Development and Field Force enablement.
    • Act as a subject‑matter expert for data structure, reporting logic and process optimisation, ensuring tools meet business needs and support decision‑making.
    • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing enhancements that streamline workflows and improve data quality.

    Process Improvement & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

    • Define, enhance and implement processes that improve the alignment of supply with customer demand, ensuring customer‑first outcomes.
    • Support cross‑functional projects that span Logistics, Distribution and Sales Operations, contributing analytical insight and technical expertise.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure new tools, processes and reporting solutions are understood, adopted and embedded across teams.
    • Lead or support development projects focused on dealer‑facing reporting, stock visibility and operational efficiency.

    Skills and Experience

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, with proven experience working with Tableau and Office 365 development tools (Power BI/ Power Automate/ Power Query)
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel
    • Analysing data
