    Regulatory Officer

    The Role:

    This is a crucial role in the R&D Product Stewardship function with responsibility for delivering all aspects of regulatory compliance for our products, with an operational focus for our Europe business unit. With expertise in Cosmetics regulations this role will monitor legislation change and will work closely with the wider business to ensure products are compliant from development, through to market launch and beyond.

    Accountabilities:

    • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all cosmetic products comply with local and international regulations, including ingredient safety, labelling, and packaging requirements.
    • Expert Knowledge: Provides specialised knowledge of cosmetic regulations in different markets, ensuring the company stays ahead of regulatory changes and requirements.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with R&D, Marketing, and Supply chain teams to ensure products are compliant from development through to market launch.
    • Consumer Safety: Play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of products via appropriate application of Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR), consumer safety studies and the Cosmetovigilance process.
    • Product Registration: Manage the registration of new products in various markets, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports for regulatory bodies. Key documents include cosmetic Product Information File (PIF) and
    • Pack Labelling: ensuring all regulatory information on the finished product label is compliant with global cosmetic labelling regulations for different markets through the artwork approval process.
    • External relationships: Work with trade bodies, technical bodies and regulatory authorities to produce official documentation and certification in line with specific requirements.

    Key Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a relevant discipline
    • A background in regulatory affairs, ideally within cosmetics or FMCG.
    • Deep knowledge of UK and international cosmetic regulations.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to manage own workload in a collaborative teamwork setting.

    Group Tax Advisor

    Job Purpose

    To provide day to day tax & administrative support to the Group Tax function; providing accurate information on a timely basis and assisting as required to ensure all internal & statutory deadlines are met.

    Function/Business Unit Overview

    This role sits within the Group Tax Function.

    Reporting Relationships

    The Group Tax Advisor will report to the Group Head of Tax.  They will provide support to the Group Senior Tax Manager & work closely with the rest of the Group Tax & Treasury Function, Group & Local Finance teams and Local Tax Teams.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities  

    • Assist with the collation and preparation of information to be provided to external advisers for completion of outsourced corporation tax computations
    • Assist with tracking of due dates and submission deadlines for assigned corporation tax returns
    • Assist with the collation and preparation of information to be provided to external advisers for completion of outsourced R&D and patent box claims
    • Assist with the calculation of quarterly instalment payments & group payment arrangement and reconciling balances to government gateway & other sources as appropriate
    • Assist with the year end and interim Group Tax Reporting process, including collating information and completing detailed tax analysis work, completing tax packs and corporation tax journals for review
    • Support with External auditors’ queries as part of year end and interim reporting as required
    • Maintain records of group tax references and other Group Tax records
    • Assist with preparation of Plastic Packaging Tax returns
    • Assist with employment tax or indirect tax filings /queries as required
    • Assist with other taxation projects arising from business needs
    • Assist with administrative tasks for the Group Tax Function as required
    • Maintain and expand technical tax knowledge through professional development activities

    Criteria 

    • ATT / Part-qualified CTA will be considered, 4+ years of relevant experience
    • Competent in Microsoft office applications including excel
    • Study support for available
    • Ability to manage and plan own workload to deadlines, including handling conflicting and changing priorities
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate tax concepts effectively to non-tax professionals

    National Account Executive - Asda

    The Role

    We are looking for a motivated and tenacious National Account Executive with great relationship building qualities, who is solutions driven and pragmatic, and is incredibly motivated with excellent communication skills. You will be reporting to the Business Unit Controller, and you will be supporting and working with the rest of the Commercial Sales team.

    Duties/Accountabilities

    • Responsible for ensuring the promotion plan is executed to maximum effect and is implemented in-store as per the brief
    • Complete all NPD / product documentation as directed by the SNAM (internally & externally)
    • Working with the demand manager to optimise all available inputs to deliver and communicate to the business a clear and accurate forecast
    • Develop customer relationships across all functions (supply chain, marketing, merchandising and prom management)
    • Deliver insights from the data sources (IRI.TNS & Kantar) and work with the SNAM to optimise these ideas across the customer
    • Demonstrate with colleagues, clients, and suppliers’ habitual behaviour with winning team principles
    • Ensure you and your team comply with legal, regulatory, and other standards as directed by the company

    Key Attributes/Skills:

    • Graduate with a degree in business or marketing, ideally with experience in account management or field sales in FMCG
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel demonstrating the use of analysis to develop plans
    • Experience of working with external partners (Retail or Distributor) ideally in a business development role
    • Understanding of the retail, media & digital landscape
