PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The Commercial Procurement Manager will partner with stakeholders to influence the appropriate sourcing approach. You’ll drive third party commercial strategy whilst navigating risk. Operating Independently, whilst leading junior staff across a pipeline of defined category projects.
- You will ensure BBC standards are met and public procurement regulations are followed. Owning governance processes to ensure approval routes are navigated efficiently and effectively, resulting in the best outcome for the BBC.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The BBC Proms is the biggest classical music festival in the world. We run over 100 live events over 2 months in the summer at the Royal Albert Hall in London and venues around the UK. Nearly everything we do is broadcast across BBC Radio, TV and online. We are a creative, innovative festival that connects with audiences around the UK and across the globe.
- You would be part of a dynamic team that looks after Marketing, Learning, Communications, Publications, Business and Live Events. You will build skills in your chosen area and everyone on the team has a chance to work at events.
- In any single week at the BBC Proms you could be working on events as wide-ranging as the First and Last Nights of the Proms, family events such as our CBeebies concerts, a collaboration with a world-class visiting orchestra or for the BBC Orchestras and Choirs.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- As a Senior Journalist on the Money and Work digital team, you will write, commission and edit online articles, including news stories which may lead the website, features, analysis, live page posts and explainers.
