    Business Development Executive

    About the Role:

    The Business Development Executive (BDE) is Diageo’s frontline representative in the On Trade channel. The role focuses on growing and maintaining distribution of Diageo’s market-leading portfolio through strong sales execution and in-venue activation. By building trusted relationships with licensees and managers, the BDE drives sustainable growth across their territory.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Win new listings and grow sales in key independent On Trade outlets
    • Manage a territory to deliver clear sales and visit targets
    • Build strong, long-term relationships with licensees and venue managers
    • Bring Diageo brands to life through menus, POS and tailored in-venue activity
    • Train and engage bar teams to deliver great brand experiences and quality serves
    • Ensure the right products are available in outlets through effective visit and stock planning

    Brand Activation Ambassador

    About the Role:

    The Brand Activation Ambassador leads activation and drives Diageo’s rate of sale across a territory’s most strategic On Trade customers. The role delivers compelling activations through menus, POS, takeovers, training and incentives, partnering closely with Commercial teams to boost visibility, excite consumers, and create value for customers and Diageo together.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Bring Diageo brands to life through engaging in-outlet activations such as menus, displays and events
    • Build strong, trusted relationships with key On Trade customers in your territory
    • Work closely with Commercial teams to grow sales and brand visibility
    • Train and inspire venue teams to deliver great brand experiences to consumers
    • Spot new opportunities in outlets and adapt plans based on what works best

    Maintenance Engineer

    About the role  

    Working across our canning and bottling areas, you’ll play a pivotal role providing maintenance and continuous improvement skills to deliver and improve on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost and asset care. You’ll be accountable to ensure all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are carried out at the defined frequency and completed to the required standard to ensure downtime is minimized. 

    In addition, you’ll be responsible for supporting installation, commissioning, and testing within the area as the need arises. You’ll work closely with and coach operators, engineers and team leaders to perform autonomous maintenance tasks, machine set ups optimisation and support growth in equipment capability as required. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Follow Diageo health and safety, environmental and food safety standards, and work to all applicable legislative procedures.
    • Maintain a safe and organised workplace environment through alignment to the Safety and 5S MMS practices.
    • Provide crafts resource (electrical and mechanical) to the Operations Team
    • Make full use of SAP - SAP reporting & recording completion.
    • Raise 5 why’s as defined by agreed trigger points. Work with Operators and site leaders to play   a proactive role in situational problem solving on shift. Fixing problems and finding solutions
    • Participate in line improvement projects.
    • Anticipate issues and be more proactive in approach.

      Health and safety compliance is key, and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets.  

    About you

    For this role you will be a time served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or have acquired a minimum of HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and SVQ Level 2 & 3 alongside relevant work experience.

    In addition to this, you will have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk. It'd be advantageous if you had knowledge of working in the manufacturing industry however this is not essential.

    We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective conclusions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems.

    You’ll be able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. You’ll have the aim to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.
