Decision Support Manager at Diageo

About the role

The Decision Support Manager will take a lead role in Diageo’s Global Supply sourcing projects and will be responsible for leading the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data to support strategic decision-making processes. Secondly, the role acts as a Financial Business Partner of the Global Technical Function, supporting the team with value creation evaluation of their activities. This is a global role which involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and using data to provide insights that drive business performance and critical initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

• Partner with markets globally to support the development of financial cases and guide teams through the Global Sourcing gate process.
• Collaborate with senior management and partners to understand business objectives and identify data needs.
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets to inform business decisions. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for decision support.
• Use strong commercial lens to lead in the translation of quantitative analysis into key insights for partners and gatekeepers.
• Present insights, forecasts, and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
• Find opportunities for process improvements and implement data-driven strategies to enhance business operations.

Experience / skills required

• +3-5 years of proven experience in project management, Finance or similar fields.
• Professional experience in Supply Chain (Beverage industry, FMCG, or other production companies).
• Consistent track record of influencing and driving functional leadership teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data-driven insights to a diverse audience.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with efficient prioritization.
• Strategic problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities and challenges.
• Diligent with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• CIMA/CA qualified preferred.
