The Role:
Lead, manage and maintain master data and business systems within the Europe Marketing function across all product portfolios, ensuring a single version of the truth, to enable accurate reporting, compliance and operational efficiency.
Function Overview
The Europe Marketing function consists of Brand, Product, Content and Project teams of circa 40 employees. The Project team is a small team of 5 and reports into the Marketing & Innovation Director.
Reporting Relationships
This role reports into the Senior Project Lead.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enable the accurate and timely setup of master data within all PZC EU business systems for both new product development, brand maintenance and SC activities.
- Act as the single point of contact between Project Leads and Master Data Management (MDM) Shared Services.
- Manage the GS1 database and support external customer data publications including new line additions, data base maintenance, pricing adjustments, report tracking and catalogue optimisation.
- Maintain, analyse and report on PZC business system performance. Ensure data integrity and accuracy of information flow between business systems including reporting and driving of corrective actions where required.
- Ensure GS1 interim and final verification reports are submitted for new line items and any issues rectified by relevant personnel in a timely manner in support of new product launches.
- Support with the training of EU business system users including new employees to ensure effective utilization of PZC systems.
- Ensure translation of business requirements into data requests in line with governance and standards.
- Support Project Managers with SAP SKU’s set up in an accurate and timely manner, generating barcodes and ensuring connectivity and information flow checks between all MDM system elements and functions.
- Provide guidance relating to data, processes and governance of MDM in line with Global MDM policies and solutions.
- Support brand and commercial teams where required with digital asset management into relevant databases and customer e-commerce platforms.
- Drive best practise and continuous improvement for data processes with ANZ

- A high level of computer literacy in key software systems including MS Office (Excel).
- Experience in maintaining key software systems as detailed in this position description (SAP and GS1).

- Working on a shift pattern as part of an engineering team with the responsibility for the day-to-day asset care, maintenance, and reactive repair of a wide range of filling and packaging equipment at the Agecroft site.
- Responding to breakdowns in a safe & timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy and detail.
- Using your technical knowledge and experience to work to identify issues/risks before they arise and report via the MMS.
- Carrying out daily PPMs as directed as well as being involved in and owning CI mini-projects where required.
- Participate in and contribute to twice daily engineering meetings to share, report and feedback issues seen over the last 24hours.

Experience/Requirements:
- FMCG environment preferably with filling/packaging machinery/process plant.
- Experience with drives, PLC’s (Allen Bradley), pneumatics, process control instrumentation, pumps, valves etc.
- Can read engineering drawings/electrical drawings to diagnose faults/issues.
- Work well as part of a team but also happy to work individually occasionally as required.
- Be available to work overtime occasionally according to business requirements.
- Able to use basic engineering workshop equipment such as millers, lathes, drills & welders to fabricate/execute simple repairs as required.
- Able to undertake small electrical installation tasks/mods to existing plant and equipment.

The Role:
The Corporate Counsel role is a broad role and exciting role. It is responsible for providing legal leadership, facilitating corporate transactions supporting the legal strategy throughout the group to help PZ Cussons achieve its long-term strategic ambitions and live up to its values and purpose. The role works with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside the business, and will involve occasional travel. It would be suited to an experienced Lawyer who enjoys variety in their work, taking ownership and delivering results, is personable and adaptable, likely from a corporate or commercial legal background.
Function overview:
The Legal, Governance and Compliance function consists of legal, company secretariat, E&C, insurance, intellectual property and data protection. The team currently consists of nearly 12 employees including the General Counsel & Company Secretary who sit on the group Executive Committee, supports the group Board and acts as a Non Executive Director of the PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc board. The function is split roughly half between those at group and those embedded in market legal units.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Corporate project execution: Provide effective legal support and leadership to deliver strategically significant projects with the support of external counsel where required. Examples include: M&A, debt financing, capital markets transactions, internal restructurings, pension transactions.
- Support legal issues for group employees and functions: Such as material commercial agreements, advisor engagement letters, employment and data privacy issues, disputes.
- Policies and procedures: Evolve, maintain and standardise legal ways of working amongst the group, coordinating with legal colleagues, developing best practice to ensure the team delivers effective and efficient legal support.
- Oversee legal support for the North America St.Tropez business: provide practical legal support to the St.Tropez team as the primary legal point of contact, and coordinate external legal advice for the US and Canada markets as required .
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Qualified legal practitioner in the UK or another jurisdiction
- Demonstrable leadership potential or demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience working in-house or in a reputable law firm in a corporate or transactional area
- Experience with international transactions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Sound legal judgment
- Technical proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint and familiarity with legal research software and legal tech is a plus
