    Clinical Tutor

    About the Job

    We are looking for two Clinical Tutors to provide line management, coordinate placement provision, and provide clinical skills seminars, teaching and research supervision to trainees across the three years of the Doctoral Training programme. With support and oversight from the Programme Director and Deputy Programme Director (Clinical). You will join a supportive, skilled and friendly small team and will input to the components of the programme that focus on the development and assessment of clinical skills and work closely with the our placement providers across the North Thames, supervisors and service leads across the region, and out TriCourse partners: UCL and Royal Holloway. 

    About You

    The appointed people will have a qualification and substantial experience in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology and be registered with the HCPC to practice as a Practitioner Psychologist. Previous supervisory experience in the NHS is essential, and/or contribution to Clinical Psychology training programmes is desirable.

    Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering

    About the Job

    We are looking for a new lecturer within the department of engineering to teach within the subject area of biomedical engineering. As an expert in this field, you will deliver lectures, workshops, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions including site visits and Field schemes. In addition to preparing teaching materials to conduct assessments in accordance with UEL’s quality standards, you will contribute to the School’s vibrant research and/or knowledge transfer activities which include obtaining research grants and funding.

    Essential Experience Required

    • To teach and assess students at all levels (Level 3 – Level 8).
    • To exercise a high standard output-oriented applied research both personally and as a member of a team.
    • To supervise UG and PG level student research projects.
    • To undertake operational and administrative responsibilities as allocated (e.g. module leader); making an important contribution to the accreditation of courses and quality control processes.
    • To support curriculum development and new course development.
    • To assist with the pastoral care of students as Academic Advisor.
    • To participate in University activities as required through membership of committees, working groups etc., as required.
    • To contribute to the attainment and direction of the Schools strategic plans, their development and execution.
    • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be required from time to time by the Heads or Dean.

    About You

    You should have:

    • A PhD (or within 6 months’ of completion) or proven research track record (including high-quality refereed publications in high-impact journals) within the area of engineering or a closely related discipline.
    • In-depth knowledge and specialist knowledge in one or more sub-areas: medical imaging, neuro-mechanics and bioelectricity of movement, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, brain-machine interface, physiological monitoring, measurement and instrumentation at an advanced level.
    • Experience in conducting practical and/ or laboratory sessions in at least one of these subject areas, mentioned above.
    • An ability to teach at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and research degree level and to undertake module administration and personal tutorship.
    • A strong commitment to widening participation and a deep understanding, based on solid experience, of how to bring out the best in students from diverse backgrounds, including those who may have under-performed in the past.
    • An ability to work as part of a team.
    • An ability to develop professional relationships with external agencies.

    Senior Research Fellow in Sustainable Materials

    About the Role

    We are seeking an exceptional Senior Research Fellow in Sustainable Materials to lead and expand a high-impact research programme within SRI.

    Accreditation Manager

    About the Role

    RDSBL is accelerating its international quality agenda and seeking an experienced Accreditation Manager to lead and deliver our accreditation ambitions across key external frameworks, including AACSB, EFMD, AMBA and PRME.

    You will design, own and deliver the school’s accreditation roadmap, develop and steer Assurance of Learning (AoL), curate and interpret datasets, coordinate submissions and panel visits, and embed continuous improvement that enhances student performance, academic rigour, employer impact and school reputation.

    This is a high-profile role that sits at the centre of our strategic development, working closely with senior leaders, academic colleagues and collaborative partners to elevate our teaching, research, employability and quality standards.

    Key areas of responsibility include:

    • Building and implementing an accreditation plan aligned with RDSBL priorities

    Alumni Data and Communications Officer

    About the Job

    This role is responsible for managing and enhancing the University of East London’s alumni data and communications activity, particularly linked to the Graduate Outcome Survey. 

    Within this role, the post-holder ensures the accuracy and compliance of the alumni CRM, supports statutory surveys, and delivers segmented, brand-aligned communications across digital channels that is tailored to a global network of alumni.  

    This role will also play a large part in our Alumni input to graduation ceremonies ensuring smooth transitions from students to graduate. 

    With a focus on data-driven insights, GDPR compliance, and continuous improvement, the role underpins UEL’s alumni strategy by enabling meaningful connections, fostering lifelong engagement, and supporting wider institutional objectives including advocacy and give back.

    Alongside this they contribute to flagship outputs such as the annual alumni magazine, collaborate across departments to strengthen alumni relationships, and provide operational support during key engagements such as graduation and the Alumni Big Weekend.

    The post-holder will have an eye for detail and be data driven, working on high level data and communications projects related to alumni. This role will work closely with the Head of Alumni and other team members as well as with our careers service with a focus on recent graduates. With experience of building communications via a CRM system and segmenting data to produced high quality targeted communications you will be seen as the first port of call in regard to the teams data and communications outputs.
