    SMB Business Development Executive

    Description -

    We are opening an exciting early career opportunity for a creative individual to join the HP Store UK team and help drive HP’s growth in the SMB space. In this role you will work closely with the SMB Business Manager to extend HP’s reach into the SMB market, building out and executing a clear action plan to engage and acquire new customers, and growing the Lifetime Customer Value in this space.

    The key responsibilities of this role involve  

    • Supporting 4P execution across priority product sets on HP Store, developing strategies on increasing coverage and engagement on these products
    • Defining and driving growth initiatives to a clear plan with well-defined lead and lag measures
    • Working closely with the Performance Marketing, CRM and Merchandising functions to ensure relevant and consistent visibility of these products sets throughout the purchase cycle
    • Continuously monitoring and maximizing key e-commerce metrics such traffic volume and quality, Add to Basket & Conversion rates, and Average Order Value, course correcting where stats are off plan
    • Driving strong engagement and alignment with Category & Marketing teams on relevant product areas
    • Providing general support to the PC business managers with day to day tasks such as
      • Providing reporting to support decision making & provide business insights
      • Stock and sales management – ensuring the store is always in stock within business targets & following the market promotional plan
      • Building the quarterly category and promotional plans & driving execution

    Partner Business Executive

    Job Description

    Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope, driving our Alliance Partner solutions and values to our corporate and enterprise customers. May act as a team or project leader and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues.

    The successful candidate will be a contributor within the enthusiastic and driven extended sales and category team. The Sales Specialist will be covering a key role in identifying and developing customer- and partner-opportunities within “Specialty” areas, focused on driving adoption of the portfolio and solutions from our key Alliance Partner.

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the organization’s products and services while understanding the customers pain points, outcome desire and delivering a solution with our alliance partner.
    • Offers technical expertise and support to the account managers in identifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and driving revenue growth.
    • Utilizes various sales and marketing techniques to engage with potential clients and helps in tailoring sales pitches and solutions, focused on Outcome Based Selling.
    • Creates and presents customized solutions or proposals that address the client's needs and demonstrate the alignment of the organization’s offerings with the client’s business objectives.
    • Maintains strong relationships with existing clients providing ongoing support, addressing client concerns, and actively seeking opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
    • Manages sales pipelines by tracking leads, opportunities, and sales prospects through various stages of the sales process and identifies improvement areas.
    • Guides junior team members in sales techniques and methodologies, such as consultative selling, relationship building, objection handling, and closing deals.
    • Focuses on growing contractual renewals, especially for mid-sized / large accounts with varying levels of complexity, to achieve higher total contract-value renewals while retaining and expanding existing client relationships.
    • Ensures adherence to company and industry-specific compliance and ethical standards in all sales activities.
    • Attends industry events and seminars to stay updated on new techniques and technologies and continuously adapt in a rapidly changing business environment to enhance sales efforts.
    • Work closely together with the teams in End-user Sales, Channel Sales, Presales and Category

    What we wish for you to bring to HP:

    Education and Experience Required

    • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
    • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
