    Repair Supervisor

    We’re looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Repair Supervisor to support our operations at Heathrow. In this role, you’ll oversee the end-to-end repair process managing everything from raising quotes and coordinating works to ensuring customers are fully satisfied before handing projects over to the delivery team.

    You’ll spend 3–4 days a week in the office, collaborating closely with clients, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams. A driving licence is preferred but not essential.

    Bid Writer

    Key responsibilities:

    As Bid Writer, you will join the Tender desk department. You will collect all the necessary information to clearly respond to the client’s questions and write a comprehensive and winning (European) tender. In consultation with colleagues, you will determine the direction of the content. Using the pricing tool, you will also prepare the pricing proposal as part of the tender.

    Your responsibilities include:

    • Monitoring various tender platforms and identifying opportunities
    • Actively seek new tender, PQQ & framework opportunities

    Design Engineer

    Purpose

    The Design Engineer provides technical support to the sales team to develop, sell and successfully implement KONE products and service solutions that meet customer’s needs. You are responsible in taking ownership of the order handling process in terms of defining specifications, details, dimensions, CAD, and layout drawings and estimation of installation and delivery times and costs. As well as managing any customer’s technical questions and supports the Sales and Operations teams with technical issues.

    (Please note that within the business this role will be known as CSE Engineer – New Business Solutions and Full Replacements).

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:   

    Customer relationship management

    • Supports the Salesperson by analysing customers’ technical needs and develops proposals outlining how KONE’s products and services can provide clear solutions to meet these needs.
    • Customer contact for technical questions. May participate in planning / specification meetings with contractors, architects, and owners.
    • Attend meetings and co-ordinate with project design team (Developers, architects, main contractors, and structural and consulting engineers).

    Technical sales support in the Customer process

    • Provides technical and costing support for the sales process.
    • Coordinates specifications and delivery times with the Supply Line, Sourcing, or local subcontractors.
    • Accountable for solution engineering.
    • Ensures that the proposed solution fulfils the codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
    • To control costs and have a financial understanding of each project worked on.
    • To provide all in house engineering and technical advice across the product and process range.
    • To carry out traffic analysis as required.

    Technical support in the Delivery process

    • Accountable for solution engineering.
    • Accountable for technical site surveys.
    • Organizes the order process and documentation.
    • To create a plan for each project and ensure the project runs to schedule.
    • Manages the drawing and related documents.
    • Makes the material specifications for KONE and local material. Checks and updates the specification based on contract and variations.
    • Organizes the purchasing of the required materials.
    • Site inspections as required.
    • Arranges and completes the project handover process to Operations team.
    • Adherence to company ISO procedures.

    Skills and Experiences:

    • Engineering / technical background (Diploma/Degree in mechanical engineering preferable) or equivalent lift engineering experience.
    • Project management.
    • Must have excellent communication skills.
    • Must be customer focused with excellent attention to detail.
    • Basic AutoCAD experience. Although training will be made available.
    • Revit & Navisworks experience is desirable.
    • IT literacy. Fluent in Microsoft Office 365.
    • Previous experience of elevator industry and capability to survey and assess existing equipment is desirable.
    • Enthusiastic about engineering and willing to learn.

    Customer Service Specialist / Administrator

    Purpose

    The Customer Service Specialist / Administrator is the voice of KONE, focusing on one or more specific admin domains. You will provide administrative support for salespersons and supervisors, enabling them to maximize the time spent on customer facing activities in the field. The administrative support covers activities related to Maintenance Operations, Sales Support, Public Tender Preparation, Third Party Inspection and Reporting.

    As Customer Service Specialist / Administrator you will also be supporting customers directly for more complex customer queries forwarded by the Customer Service Agents or other departments. This role is mainly interacting with Salespersons, Supervisors, Field Technicians, KONE Customer Service Organization and KONE Shared Services.

    The Customer Service Specialist / Administrator ensures responsiveness towards customer by keeping up with quality and SLA levels.

    Key Responsibilities & Skills

    Maintenance Operations support activities:

    • General admin support, e.g., dealing with emails, phone calls, customer reports, reconciliations of customer portals.
    • Enters fitter scheduling plans (on duty and backup assignments) in Konect, coordinating changes/updates of maintenance plans in SAP.
    • Manages work center data changes.
    • Supports specific field supervisor tasks.
    • Supports in repair and insurance visit planning and communication to customer.
    • Takes ownership for customer queries forwarded from first level and follows up with Field Supervisor and other services to get a response.
    • Creates trackers for all customers and outstanding insurance defects.
    • Supports Technician and Supervisor in material related requests (PR creation, check availability and follow up on delivery).
    • Update Customer Portals.
    • Compiles and sends out reports to Customers.

    Specialized administration and support tasks:

    Support in 3rd party inspection administration

    • Analyzes inspection needs and schedules individual inspections.
    • Analysis and follow-up: Receive and analyzes inspection reports. 
    • Takes ownership for customer queries forwarded from first level and follows up with field Supervisor and other services to get a response.

    Support in customer reporting

    • Verifies and inputs customer data in customer portals (mainly done in KONE SSC).
    • Provides reports for Key Accounts.
    • Prepares working instructions for KONE SSC to be able to input relevant information to customer portals.
    • Takes ownership for customer queries forwarded from first level and follows up with Salesperson and other services to get a response.

    Skills & Experiences

    • Good administrative skills ideally from a construction or service industry environment.
    • Experience in inter-office and customer communications.
    • To provide excellent Customer Service.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Able to prioritize workload.
    • Good communication in both spoken and written English.
    • User knowledge of SAP and/or SFDC is desirable.
    • Good skills with MS Office tools and applications (Intermediate Excel).
