    Talent Acquisition Manager

    Job Purpose

    The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead on our recruitment strategy and plan ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top talent in the Retail Division. This role involves designing and delivering recruitment strategies and plans, managing the full-cycle recruitment process, and partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership to meet organisational workforce needs. In addition, you will lead a small team of onboarding/recruitment specialists. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and drive a forward-looking talent acquisition strategy that aligns with business objectives and helps us meet our big picture goals.
    • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and assessment through to selection and onboarding—ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
    • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing talent acquisition team, fostering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Deliver an exceptional onboarding journey that enables new recruits to integrate quickly and feel connected from day one.
    • Partner strategically with hiring managers to translate workforce plans and role requirements into effective hiring solutions.
    • Adopt innovative and diverse sourcing methods—leveraging networks, social platforms, talent communities, and referrals—to attract exceptional talent.
    • Provide market insight and talent trends to hiring managers and leaders, helping them to make insightful workforce decisions.
    • Analyse and report on recruitment and onboarding metrics such as time-to-hire, retention, and engagement, using insights to optimize performance.
    • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to ensure readiness for current and future hiring needs.
    • Uphold compliance with employment legislation, right-to-work requirements, and advance our diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments.
    • Collaborate with HR and senior leadership on workforce and succession planning initiatives.
    • Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance the organisation’s talent capability and culture.

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, CIPD or related field preferred
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in in-house talent acquisition within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
    • Background in sectors known for dynamic, customer-facing recruitment such as retail, hospitality, contact centres, or logistics, with experience spanning both frontline and office-based roles
    • Experience leading recruitment and/or onboarding teams.
    • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, onboarding processes, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HRIS tools.
    • Demonstrated success in developing recruitment strategies and employer branding campaigns.

    • Skilled in analysing data and recruitment metrics to identify trends and drive improvements

    • Proficient in data-driven decision-making to support business goals
    • Highly adaptable, innovative, and able to thrive in changing environments
    • Positive, proactive, and collaborative “can-do” attitude
